5 stars because of a dramatic turnaround. Amazing difference in attitude and service. Long overdue change in management. Friendly welcoming staff. Quickly responds to long lines to keep things moving.

For a wine and spirit store it is the best it can be! Parking is not always great, sometimes one needs to park and walk, but the customer service is really good. I have gone in with questions and gotten great help. Love the Friday night tastings as well.

Horrid parking lot when this place is busy. Otherwise it’s fine. I was able to get the liquor I needed in a pinch for a Memorial Day party. Usually we try to avoid PA and shop at Total Wine & More in Delaware. Don;t get me started on PA’s antiquated liquor laws. I feel awful for bar owners, too!

Pretty decent selections which help to soothe the frustration of Pennsylvania’s archaic liquor laws(especially after growing up in Maryland). The staff was helpful in my wine selection, and seemed to not be just making stuff up. Prices are decent, and my Italian and French wines are well represented(except the lack of Bordeaux, but I’ll forgive it). Bonus points for an actual parking lot, although I’ve only ever walked there. Needs more beer, and it would get five stars(just kidding!).

One of the better PA Wine & Spirit Stores in the area! Has a lot of Chairman Selections. Parking can be tricky because part of the lot is for the Apartment users. Great location especially with many BYOB’s in the area.

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has one of the most medieval, outdated, anachronistic, and theocratic liquor and wine sales laws in the United States, probably the world. Left over when Prohibition pressed theocracy and obsolescence into legislation, it gives the Commonwealth a virtual total monopoly over the sale of alcohol. Wine and liquor are only sold in state controlled stores. Beer by the case is sold only in other by-the-case only stores. And six-packs are only sold in yet different stores. The word stupid doesn’t even begin to describe the alcohol sales laws in the Commonwealth. Even in Virginia, long considered a bastion of Bible Belt backwardness, you can go into Whole Foods, Giant, Safeway or Food Lion and get your wine along with your groceries. Ughhh! Having said that, if we’re going to live like cavemen thanks to the backwardness of Harrisburg, this wine store is about one of the best in the state. From high-end wines to screwtops, it has it all. Relatively good selection of South American, Australian and New Zealand wines. And it has a good selection of prime wines in their wine room. My rating is for the store, its friendly and efficient service, and not reflective on the antiquated and musty state law, which deserves a Minus Ten. Still, considering that Total Beverage is across the state line, I’d more than willing shop there for a great selection rather than at a PA store.

Again, I compare this store to the others in the system only, and not any premium wine store outside PA. It is very similar to the Narberth store in both layout and size. The temperature-controlled wine room is a decent size but the selection is not as good as some I have seen. The staff seemed friendly and I had called ahead to reserve 6 bottles of wine, which they had done when I arrived.

This place was a mini heaven that lit up in the snow like the north star calling us in for warmth via alcohol. We were headed around the corner to a BYOB and of course, we needed wine, ASAP! Stopped here, so much to choose from, chilled whites available too! It may be a little overwhelming if you step in here with 4 women who are hankering for some booze but we focused amongst all the selections and got the job done!

I really like this liquor store. It looks pretty small from the outside, but it has a great selection of wine and liquor. It even has its own separate chilled wine room with some high end wines. My husband and I went to Quebec and found a bottle of French wine that we loved. When we got back, this store didn’t have it but a store near Harrisburg did. They gladly ordered the bottle for us and had it moved to our store for no charge. We just had to pick it up a few days later. Great server and very friendly staff.

One of the best Wine and Spirits in PA. Chat Haut Brion 2004 bottles at a VERY fair price, Chat D’Yquem also at a great price(not that I bought either). The premium wine room is temperature controlled and has good bottles at varying prices(some are lower than Total Wine and some are far higher). If you’re in southwestern Delaware County it would be worth your wile to hit it up if you’re looking for a nicer bottle. You won’t need to run all the way to Delaware.
