Used to love this place but the food has gone seriously downhill lately(last 2 months). New menu is not good and what were once great fries are now dried out instead. Still 2* review because location and actual restaurant still make it a good place to hang out.

Went there for dinner food was just ok, could find the same food anywhere, beer was also warm. Aston cops like to hang out in parking lot. Be careful leaving

(65⁄100) I went to Boozeburg, oops. I mean Bloomsburg. I went to Bloomsburg University and studied Communications. I didn’t like college parties when I went to college; and I damn sure don’t like them now. Well that’s exactly what going to Barnaby’s on a Thursday night reminded me of. When I told my mom where I was going, she laughed at me and told me she went there back in the 90s/early 2000’s. I should have taken that as a sign that I should stay at my humble abode. Pulling in and finding parking was difficult. The place was PACKED. We actually had to park up the street and walk down. Good thing I wasn’t in my usual going out gear which includes heels that are so high that I can hear the Lord speak. Walking inside just confirmed that there was entirely too many people shoved into this small establishment. Quite frankly, it should be illegal. It was a fire hazard in there. I don’t drink; I don’t know if being drunk would have made the experience more tolerable. The music(for the most part) was actually pretty good. Unfortunately, I couldn’t really dance because every two seconds you were getting pushed, shoved, and getting a drink or two spilled on you. I’ll be 25 on Mother’s Day & I felt like I was too old to be there. #NeverAgain

Very diverse and fun crowd, I haven’t tried their food though I have been and tried their alcohol as an after hours spot. Me and my friend usually go around 10 or so on a Saturday night and it is slowly becoming our go to spot if we don’t want to head to Philly for drinks. We end up having a blast and usually feel safe enough to leave drunk(no driving of course). Staff is okay, some of the security guards aren’t very nice but no worries when the clientele is leaving the bar drunk there isn’t much reason to be pleasant. Our first night we asked for a long island ice tea and got a drink with lemon and a ton of vodka. It got us drunk very quickly which I wasn’t a fan of. I have had a long island ice tea before and it didn’t get me drunk that quickly, long islands for me are like a slow creeper that has me in denial that I might be drunk. I have had a long island before tsk tsk to the bartender that tried to fool me, especially on my favorite drink. But overall we have been there multiple times and will most likely be back, its good for a chill night with friends or a friend just to shoot pool, dance and get drunk. Food shut down at about 10:00pm So if you want food with your alcohol you will be disappointed, NOAPPETIZERS D;

I hadn’t been to this Barnaby’s since my last bad experience a few years ago. This time was no better. I had the Chicken Caesar Salad. Nasty, dried out, old gross chicken and wilted old lettuce. And red peppers don’t belong in a Caesar salad. Come on, guys. It’s a salad. Show a little that you care. It will definitely be a few years until I go there again. The server was great, though and the facility looked very clean. Except the men’s room did stink like a New York City Subway bathroom.

I was there last night(Friday 1⁄15) at the bar. Had the most awesome bartender! She was attentive and complimentary and so down to earth. Made all the patrons feel at home and welcome! Definitely going back!

This place is much larger than it looks from the outside. There is a large seating section outside, as well as the dining areas inside, and a large bar. We stopped in this past Sunday around 5, and the majority of diners were outside. We went with the boneless wings as an appetizer. They were very tender and had a great flavor. The«hot» sauce was not really hot in my taste, so next time I will go with what they claim to be their«hottest». Both my wife and I went with burgers, as she said they were really good there. I was not disappointed. The bacon and cheese were added a lot of flavor. The burger itself was large, and we really struggled to finish it. The fries were very crispy and had a light seasoning on them. The beer selection was also very robust, including a lot of craft brews on tap. We will definitely come back, especially when we are craving burgers.

Always a nice ambiance to the place. Excellent food and plenty of TVs to watch the games on. Reasonably priced with ample portions. Can get quite noisy and hard to hear anything which of course increases the noise. The outdoor deck is now open and beautiful to sit out in the late afternoon.

We like this place a lot!!! Everything on the menu is really good. Plus they have some unique foods, the menu is not at all limited to just your typical pub foods. Love their shrimp tacos! Yum! And their wings and nachos are great too. This is our go to place to have good bar food & have a good time! The employees are very friendly and I like the atmosphere too. Not to mention I left my purse on the back of the chair there once and the waitress must have picked it up right away because I called for it 10 minutes later and the hostess had it. Very honest and kind! Everything was just the way I left it in my purse which is how it should be!

I’ve only eaten here once and mainly go for the beer and every time I tell my self I’ll never go back. Not much room to move around when your surrounded by big steroid arms and tiny heads.

I have been to this Barnaby’s location many times. It is great to grab something quick to eat and their food is always great! My go to is the buffalo chicken egg rolls! They are always amazing. I usually split them with someone because they give you 3 big egg rolls cut in half. They have great specials each day of the week with discounts menu items. I have gotten a huge cheese steak with fries for $ 7.00! The portions are always large and I end up taking half of my food home. I enjoy it because I get two meals out of what I order and for a reasonable price. The burgers are also a great option. I have tried a few but my favorite is the mushroom swiss. There is another one that has bbq sauce which is amazing. Along with the food specials there are always great drink specials. You can usually get some type of beer for $ 2.00 or $ 2.50. Can’t go wrong with that!

Went to the Barnaby Aston location for lunch on Saturday and boy was I impressed. Bar had a ton of TVs with all the college football games on. Services were very fast and friendly. My father got a burger and absolutely loved it. I got the Chesapeake chicken sandwich with crab imperial and I can say I really enjoyed it. Best part was for 2 sandwich platters and 2 sodas the bill was only 24 bucks!

We usually like this place but on this particular evening, we wanted to watch a game. Not only did the bartender change the channel but he was a complete jerk about changing it back saying«I’m gonna put them all on gymnastics…» a bartenders job is to serve drinks and be a DECENTHUMANBEING. This guy ruined it for us. That and the food was not great at all… All that being said the only reason it’s 3 stars is because our server was fantastic…

It’s a standard bar, in the vein of TGIFridays or Ruby Tuesdays. Lots of nonsensical crap on the walls and reasonable bar food. Our waitress was very friendly but definitely didnt have a good understanding of the beer selection. I asked what was available on draft but that proved fruitless, so I just ordered from the bottle/can menu. For appetizers we had nachos and cheese fries. Both used the same type of cheese, which I’m pretty sure was cheez wiz. not bad on the fries but not a good option for nachos. the nachos also had chili(sub par), salsa(sub par), and jalepenos. the chips on the nachos were also pretty low grade. everyone enjoyed their entrees. burgers looked good, buffalo shrimp wrap was good, veggie burger wasn’t bad. overall the place is fine if you want friendly service and standard bar food. i wouldnt rush back for food, but it’s not a bad spot if you want to meet a group of friends.

Barnaby’s is really more of a bar/club than a restaurant… We’ve eaten there a number of times over the years and it’s been just so-so… It’s pretty popular among the area’s young people, but I fear my days of bar-hopping to Barnaby’s have been over for quite some time!

The positives here are the service. I always find the staff to be great with the kids. Gave the 2 star rating because I remain disappointed with the food. With the amount of menu space they dedicate to their self-hyped wings you would think that they would be out of this world. Instead you get dry chicken wings sharing a plate with a teeny tiny container of bleu cheese. many of their options just seem to be of the heat and serve variety. All of their locations are in great spots and provide a decent sports themed atmosphere. They have the potential to be be better, much better.

I’ve been to this Barnaby’s a couple of times now, and each time experienced consistently decent service and food. We start(always) with the cheese steak egg rolls, served with a spicy ketchup. They get points for crispy flavor and cheesy goodness. My meals in the past(salad, burger) haven’t stood out particularly, but the fajitas I got the last time we were worth mentioning. I got a large sizzling skillet of veggies and chicken and lots of fixins on the side to dress them up. My one complaint was my tortillas, wrapped in a piece of foil while warm, stuck together. Small potatoes, though, since everyone else enjoyed their meals as well — veggie burger, taco salad, roast pork sandwich, wings. I tried some fries as well, and they do a damn fine job at those too. Our server was quick, refilled drinks before we even knew they were empty, and made us feel right at home. Barnaby’s is a solid pick in the area, and in quite a beautiful location too!

First visit was better than the second. My beer tasted fine and I enjoyed my bacon/barbeque burger(even if it wasn’t cooked to the way I ordered it). Bartenders were friendly and so were the staff. My second visit was worse, that’s for sure. It appears like the beer lines were dirty, Goose Island Chrismas and Brooklyn Winter Ale tasted off. The bartender took the first one back but I didn’t have the heart to complain about the second one. My Corona on tap tasted fine, and so did the bottles. French onion soup was passable – it tasted a bit too pre-prepared(there’s gotta be a packet of powder back in that kitchen) – but it was only $ 4, so what do I expect? French fries were not hand cut and came to me lukewarm(I prefer them piping hot and to be the first thing I eat on my plate with my burger). My horseradish, bacon burger was good – cooked-to-order(in fact a bit too rare, but I’m O.K. with that). Philadelphia spoils me, that’s for sure. I think two stars for this place is generous. But the staff is friendly, so is the Quizzo host, and it is affordable. I don’t have a context for food in the ‘burbs, but if this were in Philly, it’d be getting one star.

Barnaby’s is simply a bar. That serves food. It can also accomodate large and rowdy groups. We came on a relatively quiet Monday night(thank goodness) with our 7 year old who promptly told me she hates it there. DH& I both had half priced burgers(Which for $ 4.50 each was a great bargain.) Service was fine — nice young gal. Food was unremarkable. Not my cup of tea, but I bet we’ll be back — it’s very close to our new house.
