C’mon son… I came here for a brew and grub. I ordered the nachos, because you can’t fuck that up. I could have spent 8 dollars at the gas station and got 20 times more nachos of the same quality. Stale chips, unmelted cheese, and pickled jalapeños. Man cheese can’t be so expensive that you gotta skimp so hard. I would pay 2 dollars for the nachos. Not 8. The service wasn’t so bad. I saw pizza on the menu. I wonder if it was totinos?

Locally brewed and tastes GREAT. My friend Curtis recommends the Stout, so much so I bought him a Growler to take back to Cali with him. Friendly, nice atmosphere, great beer and reasonable prices. I HIGHLY suggest Walkabout Brewery Company.

Beer is top quality, Love the jabberwocky especially. Nice atmosphere, the outside seating is a real nice touch. Service has always been great and definitely has me coming back again and again, couldn’t recommend it enough!

Love this casual tasting room located in an industrial park near my house. Everyone in here is down-to-earth and friendly, they have a great backyard space that is being converted into a beer garden and top-notch microbrews! The bar food is standard fare but tasty nonetheless. We always get the potato wedges and hot pretzels. Pretty much all one needs at a brewery, right? I love the Workers Ale, of course, but they have a gluten-free light ale that is truly a delicious summer beer that I’ve been ordering more often lately. Yum! Last, this place has old school dart boards so if that’s your thing, I’d recommend playing a few games here. Fun place for friendly gatherings and dog-friendly out back :)

I’m late with my review. I found Walkabout early last summer. Found it by accident, as it was far down a street that had little on it but the Western Beverage distribution warehouse and the First Student bus barn. In fact I wasn’t even sure what I had seen. We had to back the car up and take a second look. I don’t think they had been open too long. The inside was small and it has a very local hangout feel to it. There is an outside that simply a picnic bench under the glaring sun. The inside was small benches or stools at the bar. I have some mobility issues, so both seating arrangements were far from ideal for me. I chose the bench. I think we got a sampler on the beer. They have good beers and ales. For food the choice was pretty limited. I believe we got a hummus plate. The server was a nice woman, friendly and helpful. Overall I quite liked it. I think we caught it when it was still wobbling into itself and would like to go back and see how that’s gone. I really support these small brewers. I recommend anyone to go check them out. By now, it’s quite likely that the amenities and food are greatly improved. I’ll be heading over there again, soon.

As Others have said, an ironic location across the street from a Bud distributor… however the little guy brews some great beer, I’ve had bottles and draft beer at other bars, but today was my first time at the brewpub. Won’t be the last, owner was real personable, and the young lady behind the bar was very nice. lemon Ginger was flavorful, same with the Session IPA, the regular IPA, and I was given a taste of an upcoming brew that was fantastic, and 9% ABV… woohoo, bring a designated driver!

Walkabout is well-known for their Workers Pale Ale and Jabberwocky… but all the other taps are worth checking out. Get a flight at their taproom located, ironically, across the street from a Budweiser distribution center in Medford. Last time I was there, it looked like they were working on a grass field in the back of the building. Hope to be sipping some ales outside soon…

The pesto pizza is very good, and brew maid Kelly is very nice, as is the owner Ross. This is a really nice place to meet friends, hangout, and drink. Out of all the beers it is really hard to pick a favorite as my mood changes another brew takes top spot, you cannot go wrong here, Great Quality, & Great Tasting beer. When It’s beer-o-clock, I go to walkabout.

The stars are for the beer alone. Great brew! The place is brand new so it kind of feels like you’re drinking beer at your buddies garage. But, the bartender was very nice. Once they get the place up and running I think it will be a great place to hang out and have a couple brewhahas.

Great brewery across the street from a giant distributor. This is a true David and Goliath of quality over quantity. Walkabout serves the locals good craft brew made on location from a great up and coming brewer. When I came here the tap room was not ready to be open to the public but I did get to check it out and its really nice inside. I did however get to try the brews they have to offer. They do a nice run of Jabberwocky Ale which is a English Strong Ale, two IPAs one called Point the Bone and the other is Redback. I only tried the Point the Bone its a nice balance of malts and hops. I also tried Workers Pale Ale which is a nice American pale ale that packs a nice punch to your palate. If your in Southern Oregon and want to get in good with the locals hop on over to Walkabout and have some good conversation paired with some good brew. Owner here is super nice make sure to say hello to him. CHEERSMATE!!!
