Tip Top Nails

First time to this salon. I walked in for a pedicure. The staff was friendly and helpful. I’ve had worse pedicures but I’ve had better. For the price of their spa pedis you would think they would use warm water and towels to wipe down the lotion on your legs. The clientel seemed like regulars and were friendly as well. I got my lip and brows waxed. Reasonably priced but a so-​so job. I would come back again if I really needed to and don’t find a better salon in the area.

This salon is awesome. Anna, the manager and owner, is super friendly and speaks fluent english. The salon is clean. All the nail techs and happy to greet you when you walk in the door. I’ve been to almost all the nail salons in Medford but this one is my favorite!

I went to Tip Top Nails on a weekday afternoon, and despite the fact that it was extremely slow, the salon was dirty and the workers were curled up on the massage chairs, in blankets, watching personal DVD players. The technician wouldn’t stop talking to me the whole time (while I was trying to relax and enjoy my pedicure). When I tried to make it evident that I just wanted to close my eyes and not talk, he continued to ask me personal questions. Perhaps it was because of his limited English, but he managed to insult me time and time again while trying to make small talk (for example, he stated «it must be nice to have a job» in which I didn’t have to «work on Fridays.» When I tried to explain I took a vacation day from my busy job, he repeatedly stated, «it must be nice.» Then he asked me if I had children, and when I responded no, he stated, «No children? How come? No pets? No cat, dog, or children? Why not?» I was so annoyed!!! When it was time for my manicure, the station was also dirty. I will never, ever go back!!! If you want a clean salon that is a relaxing environment to forget about all of your stress, this is NOT the place to go!!!
