Tiki Lodge Motel

This place is great, especially at a third of the price of any other clean place. We got a spacious room with a mini fridge and a microwave for $ 60/​night. Unilocal check in gives discount. The front door person is an amicable, easy to talk to and laugh with type of person, we really enjoyed their company. Five stars just for them amd the size of the room. There is an in room a/​c which was lovely. Only reasoms we would take off points would be for a few ants we found that were probably our fault, and the pillows were not great. Thanks tiki!

My boyfriend and I went on a road trip from Southern California to Washington, and this was one of our stops. We were originally going to stay at Motel 6 but they were full, so we found this place online. I was skeptical at first because of the reviews about the horrid customer service, but when I called them, the guy running the place (Johnathan) answered and was very friendly and helpful the entire time. We got a room reserved with no problem.
The room was nice, although the TV was very slow and the toilet didn’t flush as well as it should have. There was a small but free breakfast in the lobby from 7−10am. There is also no pool there, but we didn’t mind because we just needed a place to stay, and we were pleased with it so much that we ended up coming back on the way home!
I only give this 4 stars because of the extremely slow cable provider and toilet, but for around $ 70/​night and the pleasant customer service, you can’t go wrong staying here!

The little boi behind the counter needs to learn some manners. I offered to pay full price for 4 hours and pay for another full day just so I could get some sleep. I drove and worked in the wicked heat. I was tired and dirty, just wanted a shower and bed. No you can’t check in until 3pm.
As I looked across the parking lot at the boi I saw him giving me the 1 finger salute. I hopped out of my vehicle to ask if there was a problem. He hid behind the window in the office and repeatedly called me white trash and threatened to call the police.
We’ll never be back. We needed a room for a week. In 6 months we’ll need a room for a week, 6 months after that mmm hmm you guessed it. Can you guess where we won’t be staying?!

The customer service is severely rude, my husband offered to pay the two days, but we were only going to stay for one and we couldn’t check in until 1:30 which is crap, the attendant became very rude, which set my husband off, and we were leaving when the attendant flipped my husband off behind the glass door, which caused my husband to jump out of the van.
The attendant knows nothing of Customer service, and accepting the extra money for one night of stay, he needs to go back and get retrained in his field of service. We will never be staying here because of his rude service.

We rolled in to Tiki Lodge Motel around 11pm, had no reservation but got a room without hassle, and was checked in (and passed out!) in a few short minutes. The room won’t blow you away with ambiance but it’s cheap (around $ 50 after taxes and including the Unilocal check-​in discount), it’s clean, and it has all the basic amenities. That’s all you need after many hours of driving. I liked the large bathroom vanity, hair dryer, microwave and mini fridge in-​room, and the free continental breakfast in the lobby. The night staff was pretty flatline but the guy at the counter the next morning was super friendly.
The only thing keeping Tiki Lodge Motel from a 5-​star rating is that very low shower faucet with a crappy shower head, and the fact that the only thing «tiki» about this motel is the logo on the lobby wall. Crank up the kitsch for us tiki types!

The room was very spacious, with lots of counter space to put put bags at waist level. The bed was comfortable and the shower had plenty of room. It is an exceptionally good value. Jonathan and his boss were very kind and helpful and went out of their way to make us comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

I am a road warrior and so am thrilled when I can maximize my T & E budget and still feel like a baller. This motel makes me want to work Medford/​Ashland every chance I get. $ 40 bucks a night? For an immaculate room, flat screen TV, fridge/​micro and wonderful bed? Great wifi too? Oh, and Mr. Smith’s sports bar a 1 minute walk away? I’m floored. This room in Seattle would be twice the price, and would be sketch central. I love Tiki Motel!
