Went here recently with a friend. Above average burger and a nice selection of beers. Wish it were a larger venue.

The food was fabulous. I’d go there again just for that. The service was medium-slow…it was crowded but for a small place, I’d expect a bit better. The noise level in there is WAYTOOLOUD — could barely think. And minus a star for not having a kids menu or any kind of dessert.

Went to lunch at a fantastic local eatery in west Medford. Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly and the PBR was ice cold. Ordered a multitude of sliders off of menu and they were all delicious. Can’t wait to come back again

The sliders are amazing. We also had the fried pickles and buttermilk fries. Everyone raved about the meal and the beers were also delightful. Service was a bit slow; took 15 minutes before we were asked if we wanted to order drinks. It’s a small place with great eats.

I actually think their food is really delicious when they get it right. I’ve been there once with my boyfriend. We were sat by staff, and then not approached for another 15 minutes. We ordered our food, me the«American“burger with no relish and my boyfriend their barbeque burger. Then we waited over 30 minutes for our food. I ran out of water after 10 minutes and couldn’t flag down the waiter to get a refill. Once my food did arrive, only mine, not my boyfriend’s, not our fries, I was confused as to why I was given a side of ketchup with my burgers. Turns out they can’t customize an order in their system so when the waiter put in a burger with cheese and ketchup, it was too much effort to actually put the ketchup on the burger. My boyfriend’s burger came 5 minutes after mine and the fries another 5 minutes after. Luckily, because if they poor service they comped our meal. Most recently, we ordered from Doordash and when our food arrived, my burgers were covered in relish despite the clear directions to exclude it. I normally wouldn’t be upset by it and just scrape it away; but there was so much… Everywhere. It completely permeated the food, it was entirely inedible. Since it took 45 minutes to arrive we decide to get our money back than wait another 45 minutes to get a corrected order. This place could be great but their strict menu without the system to customize items and no attention to detail will ruin them every time.

Decent selection of beers and wines, I had the small patty’s and they are juicy and delicious. Scratch kitchen with those brioche bread slices as buns are great! The lobster ravioli is also very tasty, doesn’t overwhelm but flavor is definitely packing. Just had brunch here and the menu looks simple but the flavors are complex and delicious. The crab fritters, poutine, and buttermilk fried chicken are heaven.

My wife and 2 kids drove all the way from Bristol RI to try some snappy patties and we’re not disappointed the food was top notch. I was able to try 3 different parties I think my favorite was the Texan . After speaking with the chef we found out that everything was homemade all from scratch even the breads, which was Amazing, you could defiantly tell by how good the food was. Thanks again chef Michael for a terrific Sunday brunch!!!

A very well done, sleek interior with a bar and cocktails awaits the curious who dare to step inside Snappy Pattys on the main drag in West Medford. The bar to the right is overhung with a chalk board listing drink specials and the kitchen in back. We sampled the in-between menu that is served from 3 – 530 each day. The menu has appetizers, salads and the sliders. We were there for the sliders but ended up sampling the fries and the fried chicken as well. Buttermilk fried chicken($ 9.95) as an appetizer is large. 8 or more pieces of boneless chicken tenders are served with a chicken drum breaded and wonderfully crisped. The meat is juicy, succulent, hot. The pieces are served In a paper basket drizzled with honey and served with a side of a teriyakish BBQ sauce. The meat needs no sauce — these chicken pieces are superb on their own. The sliders are $ 2.50 each or $ 6.95 for three. We ordered six individuals so we could try multiple flavors. All sliders are served on a slice of buttered brioche from a mini loaf. Three sampled were: California(avocado mayo and havarti with a slice of tomatoe), Texas(onions BBQ sauce and cheese) and original(ketchup, cheese and dill pickles). All were served with the meat being an addition to the party. The flavor of the beef is lacking — the idea is that the meat is essentially a conduit to serve exceptional toppings. Avocado mayo? Yes! BBQ sauce and cheese? Yes! Beefiness? No. Basically, the burgers were tasteless pieces of meat enabling a ton of beautiful toppings. The meat needs to be seasoned(salt and pepper) and served with toppings that don’t overwhelm the flavor of the beef. The meat is not seared and almost steamed. Without salt. The service is spectacular. The place is cool. I like it if you’re going for a very buttery slice of bread with a ton of flavorful toppings and some good service. The grind of beef is lacking.

My first five star review! Have nothing bad to say about this place. Great food, service and price! First they greet you in a friendly way… Not a «how dare you walk in here» way. Quick to the table they provide water without asking and refill as needed also without asking(thank you!). Menu is creative and simple at the same time. Have the Ratatouille, just trust me. And patty melt sliders? Why hasn’t someone owned this before. Had both California and Texan and they were delish(Cali won out in the end for me). Food came out quick… And have I mentioned the great service? Need more places like this where it is not stuffy but delishious, and they still provide great friendly service. Go. Eat. Here.

We stopped in to Snappy Pattys for a light supper recently. Everything was delicious– especially the avocado mayo – and came out quickly. The little brioche toast that the sandwiches are made with is tasty(not to mention cute). The service left a lot to be desired though. Our waiter never came to the table after our food arrived to see if we needed anything. It’s a small place, but we sat at our table for more than 15 minutes after we finished and weren’t able to get the waiter’s attention. We finally had to go to the bar to pay and we ended up just taking the leftovers home in the paper boat the food was served in rather than wait any longer. The back of the menu has a great statement about the restaurant’s mission and the owner’s philosophy(they use fresh, local ingredients and have a passion for eating from the ocean responsibly – all things we like). We really wanted to like this place, but the poor service resulted in us leaving with a bad feeling.

Have visited a few times… couple of times for dinner and once for brunch. Ambiance is great for a small café and the staff is friendly with impeccable service in my experience. Food has been very good… the slider special they had last time I was there for dinner was exceptionally good for such simple sounding entrée… Beer selection is small but thought out well to go with the dinner. Brunch omelette was delicious. Highly recommended

This is my third time visiting this place since it opened. They have some great food here. I love the burgers. An order of 3 sliders, some of the house poutine, and a beer make for a great night out. The place has a great beer selection, many in cans, limited tap. But the selection makes up for the lack of draft beer. The sauce on the burgers was great, and the waitstaff was really nice and knew the menu inside an out. If you sit at the bar you can see right into the kitchen and watch everyone running around getting the food out as quick as the orders come in. My only complaint was the space gets warm really quickly, even with the front door open. Because its a small space and the tables are close, it get hot. This didn’t detract from dinner but it was noticeable. Overall I would come back and plan on doing just that.

Weve had some good meals at Snappy Pattys and hoped to have another tonight. Called them 30 min. ago, left a message and my phone number. Still waiting to hear back. Their online menu has listings~ some misspelled~ no prices and no way to place an online take out order. We ordered from Emilianoz instead and I suggest you do, too.

Very very excited to have a place like this open near home in West Medford. Menu has a lot of potential and prices are reasonable. Food is decent and service is ok. Fish tacos and sliders were good. I’d bring niece and nephews next time to try the slider options as well. A few cons, but giving Snappy Patty’s 3 stars + .5 for convenience(which just applied to me personally): — the first high top is right next to the entrance. So customers coming in will be right next to you. And it’s cold at that table when they leave the door open in 50degree weather — we needed a few more minutes but when done, we kept trying to make eye contact with the server but he was busy having a conversation with another server towards the back. Bar tender saw us but continued a conversation with someone at the bar I would return to try some other items.

Came here on a Friday night around 9pm, it was busy but there were still plenty of open tables. It’s small and nicely decorated, with high-top tables and a huge bar/open kitchen area. Definitely has a modern, casual feel. Decent drink menu with local beers and lots of fancy cocktails/wines. As for food, the fish tacos are awesome — super light, fresh, and flavorful. The fried chicken was also really good and not too heavy, and it comes with their homemade bbq sauce. Also, the service is great! I don’t remember the name of our waiter, but he was very friendly and made sure we were happy with our food/drinks. Only downside is that it’s pretty far from the T so is not super convenient to get to, unless you’re already in the area. If I lived closer, I’d definitely come back more frequently.

And without further adieu, I give you my 1,000th review! Dearest Snappy Pattys, I love you. I love you. I love you. Dearest Unilocalers, Nestled in the heart of West Medford Square, Snappy Pattys is a welcome addition to an area that seems to have been lost in time. There is not much going on in these parts, but Snappy Pattys fills the void of a necessary burger joint in Meffa. The burgers are delicious. I mean, slap your gramma delicious. Like, eat 9 sliders delicious. Like dream about eating these sliders delicious. Like…they are just so damn good! The fries are amazingly simple and delicious too, a side was enough for us both and we were hungry beasts ready for burgers! As for the burgers… We got three kinds: The Original — American, Ketchup, Dill Relish — MYFAVORITEANDHISBYFAR! It was freaking delicious. Like an old school bbq and the dill relish really made it! The Texan — Young Cheddar, Bacon Secret Sauce — Very tasty and the bacon secret sauce with the cheddar really made this sing! BourbonQ — Colby, Bourbon BBQ, Pickled Red Onion — This one, I didn’t try because I didn’t think I’d like the pickled red onion and it was kind of a sloppy mess(but in a good way). My burger eating partner in crime said it was ok and rated it third place. First place was definitely The Original, you could make that into a smoothie and it would be delicious. Ok, maybe that sounds gross, but you get my drift. The flavors were so nostalgic, yet new to my palate. Must have been that dill relish. A game-changer! Our server seemed a little freaked out by the amount of young kids in there(like really young kids), we were eating lunch on Thanksgiving Eve and the school just got let out and a lot of moms and dads were taking their youngsters out for lunch. They have beer and wine, and I think cocktails? I don’t drink these days but my burger eating partner in crime does and he got two Slumbrews and enjoyed them with his beer. I got two diet cokes, the glasses are a bit small but I think the refills were free. The place is teeny tiny and the servers were literally picking up tables and chairs(over their heads) to cram the people in. Their bathroom is big, almost felt as big as the restaurant(but not really) and I was glad they had hot water and soap in there — as sometimes restaurants don’t seem to think this is necessary and the bathroom was very clean. A big plus. They didn’t have any music on until about 45 minutes into our lunch and I actually noticed when they turned it on and it was all good music, I wish they had that on when we were in there! I never really care about music in places but I guess I do, since I noticed when it was off and when it was on. Finally, I must mention the temperature of the restaurant. ITWASFREEZING. I don’t mean, put on your sweater, Betty, it’s chilly in here. I mean, I saw parents putting coats on their children while they waited for their food. It was a really gross, wet, cold, raw, and dreary day but I was hoping to come into a cozy and warm restaurant and I was so uncomfortable and cold that I couldn’t really think of anything else(with the exception of how good the burger was). So, please think about turning the heat on or up. I don’t think it was on at at! I want to give you another star so you get the big five stars as good as it gets but I was so cold and thinking about it is making me cold again! The prices are so reasonable for the quality of food! I am so happy about that. I am so happy that this is in my hometown, I don’t live walking distance but I will still be dining here on the regular. I also am making this my 1,000th Unilocal review because I love burgers, always have, always will. I also love my burger eating partner in crime and love my hometown. Welcome to the neighborhood, Snappy Pattys, please stay forever! Peace, Love and Burgers for life, Melissa M.

Small plates is a very popular trend right now. American Tapas in a gastro pub. Sounds interesting right? Well you won’t be let down by this small spot in West Medford Square. I had the pork belly which by far was the best damn thing I’ve eaten in a long time. It just melted in my mouth and I could of eaten 2 more orders of it and been done. The accoutrement with the bellies was sweet, spicy and a bit overwhelming for me but I was famished and made quick work of it all. Buttermilk chicken was good. Least favorite was the cheese gnocchis that did not taste like gnocchis at all to this Sicilian girl. Not terrible just meh. Will have to go back for the mini grill cheese, sliders and a few other items that looked interesting. Oh did I mention there is now a bar in West Medfid you can enjoy? :)

This place is more of 3.5 stars, on the verge of being really good. Went here for the first time last night after looking at their menu online which looked extensive and fantastic. They had some good craft beer on tap, I had the Greenhead IPA out of Newburyport which was really good and the wife had a pumpkin cider which wasn’t too bad either, but a little too bitter for my tastes. For dinner we tried a bunch of appetizers and a soup: 1. Roasted Celery Root & Thyme Soup– Pumpernickel Cheese Toast is friggin amazing, this was our favorite dish of the night, so creamy and delicious 2. Buttermilk fried chicken — they give you a pretty big basket of these and a dipping sauce, but I was disappointed by these. I’d normally expect a fried chicken to be nice and super crispy, but this had a soft mushy skin that easily fell off the chicken; wasnt too impressed. 3. The Pork Belly was delicious, they are nice and crispy and served with this really inventive pickled/shaved apple which tasted awesome with the pork belly 4. Fish tacos: I was not too impressed with these either. The tacos were overstuffed with greens and was really messy to eat. The fish itself was pretty decent, butit was overpowered by all the stuffing in the taco. I’ll definitely come back to try the burgers and sliders since that seems to be the specialty, and overall I enjoyed the variety of the menu but it seems a little hit-or-miss on the tasty-scale.
