Silvestro’s Barbershop & Shaving Parlor

Great crew of barbers at this place. I have been 3 times and already feel like a regular. There are no weak links in the chain from what I can tell — I have watched each barber do an equally great job. I would trust any one of them.
Clean shop, no attitudes, and friendly environment that is welcoming to all. They take their time and are very into their craft. Prices are very reasonable (under $ 20) relative to other shops of this caliber and quality.

Awesome guys, and great place. Got my haircut in downtown Boston for the last few years, and paid $ 40+ per cut; Chris does better work by far at over a third of the price. Great for all ages, you won’t be disappointed!

Just had my first haircut at Silvestros… all I can say is that I had no idea what the hell I was doing before. I’ve spent way too much time getting half assed butchered haircuts at great clips or supercuts. Chris spent about 40 minutes on my hair and it looks the best it ever has. Not to mention the incredibly friendly atmosphere in there. These guys are professionals and had me looking my best for a great price. I’m never going anywhere else.

I just moved to the area from Maryland, and needed a haircut stat. My hair grows fast and thick so I can’t go too long without a cut. I looked up the reviews on Unilocal and couldn’t agree more. This is a really laid back and comfortable barbershop. Chris was awesome. The service was excellent and the cut looked really sharp. Will definitely be coming back. Warning: cash only!

I found out about this barber shop via Facebook and I must say this place is an awesome barbershop. I’m from Rhode Island and moved to Malden about two years ago so finding a great barber was a bit of a challenge. When I found Silvestros I could tell right off the bat they had a clean shop, and I looked over some of their styles and I had to come by as soon as I could. When I got there I was greeted and I had my haircut done by the owner himself. All of the barbers there had great customer service and I like that my barber kept me talking with him. A lot of the barber shops I’ve been to the barber was quiet or on their phones most of the time and here there was none of that. I’m pretty impressed and I really like the layout of the shop as well as my hair cut. I would definitely recommend people to come to this shop especially if you’re new in the area.

Barbershops come and go, this one isnt going anytime soon.
Silvestro’s is an rising institution.
They specialize in all types of cuts from military style fades to fashionable hair styles. Highly recommended. Locally owned, not a chain, lots of character. You really cant go wrong here.

I usually buzz my head every week or two instead of going to a barbershop. For thanksgiving though, I stopped by Silvestro’s off of a friend’s recommendation.
The barber I had was very professional and the talk among barbers paired with the style of the place created a great mood. He also gave me a recommendation for hair style and I took it — and it came out awesome. I might stop buzzing my own head after this visit.
