Well, Ott’s isn’t the fanciest joint in town, but it certainly will hit the spot if you want a quick bite and a beer. I am sure that some people don’t like it. It’s true that the atmosphere is dark, the tables are a bit sticky and it’s got a bit of that worn in vibe. But on the plus side, you can see that it’s a local watering hole with pretty decent bar food if you are willing to go with the flow and accept bar food. My dad loves the pork roll and cheese sandwich, so if you love pork roll, Ott’s is where it’s at. The beer list is surprisingly good for a place like this — with your standard options plus a nice variety of fancier craft brews if that’s your thing. On this last visit I had the hot beef and cheese sandwich, which was pretty tasty on a nice roll. And there is not much arguing you can do with a perfect crinkle cut french fry. That’s all I’m saying.

Great place! Lots of craft beers and the staff has a great attitude. The new dining area outside with the fire pit is excellent! Always lots of specials and decent bands playing during the week. Keep it up!

Ott’s rocks! They generally keep a good craft beer rotation. Good wings. Good flatbreads. Kid friendly. Low stress and low maintenance kinda place. Ott’s is very good local bar/restaurant standby. The staff is always nice and even on the busiest of nights I’ve never had to wait for a table.

Went on a Tuesday to the newer outside bar, bartenders were attentive, and they had good food specials such as 10 wings for $ 5 bucks. The wings were not small and they had a variety of sauce choices. Overall it was a good experience and I will be back. The TV set-up in the new section is a huge improvement from what was in the older section. There isn’t a spot in the new section where a TV isn’t viewable.

3 – 4 stars depending, food is generally pretty good. If you want a medium burger good luck everything is usually overcooked so if you order according to that you’ll be happy. Try the Marv burger. Staff is incredible. Worth a shot

Love the new outside area, especially b/c it’s non smoking. They also have an awesome propane fire pit! As far as the new outer bar it was okay but unfortunately the day cook, still in his chef gear was at the bar, all 300 plus pounds of him being louder than anyone around him. Kinda overwhelmed anything good that was going on. Disappointing.

Management messaged me after my review. I made several attempts to message them back – both owner and manager. No one got back to me.

I will say that I was pleasantly surprised. It was my first time at Ott’s. I was expecting more of a bar environment. Another family and I stopped in with our children for a quick bite. The nachos and turkey burger were hands-down better then PJ’s. Our server was polite, attentive and great with our children. We couldn’t have asked for anybody better. I think I’ll have to kick PJ’s to the curb and start coming to Ott’s. The interior was also nicely renovated.

I was invited to a bridal shower in their back private room — the server assigned to us was very bubbly and attentive. The food choices were Caesar salad, baked ziti, some type of(yummy) breaded and cheesy chicken and asparagus. I loved the chicken — the ziti was pretty good. I’m not a bar fly but I saw a live band setting up on my way out at 7 pm and everyone seemed to be having fun. Doubtful Id go back but nice for a private event.

Extremely friendly service and just a great place to have a nice cold pint. Food is good but the 5 stars is for their service. They truly take the extra step to insure you enjoy the experience.

App: chicken stuffed ranch potatoes w/bacon & cheddar. Her: Mama Otts roast beef w Yukon mashed potatoes.(Lots of beef, salty gravy) Me: chicken Parmesan over linguine(cutlets ok, dry sauce too sweet ok bread) Waitress wore heavy perfume which was distracting. Dark booths. Some outside dining.

Ott’s is probably the closest bar to my house(not counting tiny expensive Braddock’s), so this is one of my go-to places when I want a beer and some bar food. Before the place became Ott’s Medford, it was a dump called Medford Tavern(and Nicklebee’s before that). The Medford Tavern was awful. Ugly old bar and crappy food. I used to regularly eat lunch at the Ott’s in Delran when I worked nearby, and I always loved their cheesesteaks. So I was excited when Medford Tavern was transformed to Ott’s. And it is indeed waaay better. The food is ok. It’s good bar food as far as I’m concerned. The beer selection is good. The prices are reasonable. That’s good enough for me. The service can be spotty, but that’s the case for PJ’s down the street too. I’m surprised to see so many negative reviews here for this place. I’ve been here many times and I haven’t had the bad experiences some have referred to here.

NO, NO, DONOTGO. We’ve been here 4 times and it’s always BAD. Food is mediocre, place is FILTHY and the service is HORRIBLE. THEYJUSTDONTCARE, so don’t give them your hard earned money or your TIME. We came for a group event and waited an hour and a half after ordering and never got our food. We left and went elsewhere our kids were starving and we were all miserable. This place needs to close, seriously. They have NOIDEA what hospitality is supposed to mean.

I really wished I liked this place more as I’ve been here a hundred times over the years(literally) – so close to home. But I’ve just gotten tired of smaller portions, wait times for food, the menu inflation, upcharging, unmotivated staff, and dead atmosphere. The Otts corporate plan to homogenize their menus and décor has failed, and their accountants are starting to call the shots…

We went around 6:00 on a Friday night and the crowd was fairly light. Bar area was crowded but very few people at tables. We walked in and waited way too long at the«please wait to be seated sign». Finally one of the many servers that walked by sat us. The French onion soup was good but its hard to mess that up. The loaded tater toys should come with a warning… they are billed as an appetizer but it was a huge plate. Thankfully I had already planned on sharing or else I would have had a lot to eat.

A little overpriced for pretty run of the mill bar food. Fine if you’re looking for a bar, but I won’t be making any special trips to eat here. There are certainly better options in the area.

Ott’s has been a staple in Medford for years. We tried the one in Mt Holly which is closer to home and will go the extra mile to go back to Medford. Not that My Holly doesn’t have the same great food and drinks, the area sucks and you have to park several blocks away and walk down a narrow street. The last time, with the gathering in front of the main entrance(on the side of the building), was somewhat threatening, we drove away and went somewhere else. Want a great bar pie on thin flatbread, try Ott’s but go to Medford!

Medford’s local watering hole. The only other option is PJs in Medford Lakes which is generally more of a younger crowd. When I need a break from running into old classmates I usually hit up Ott’s and chill with the old heads. They are much more entertaining! Live music from local bands on the weekends and beer specials during football when happy hour is over. Food is your standard bar food — 80% of the menu is most likely fried. Although they did renovate a couple years ago and it’s been looking pretty great ever since. I don’t see why anyone who isn’t local would make their way over here for dinner unless they wanted to see the Juliano Bros.
