The food, coffee, and service were excellent. The space got a little cramped, we were in the middle of the breakfast rush. Probably the best omelette I’ve had in Medford, the coffee was 10x better than dunkin donuts, and the service was so quick. Only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 was due to the lack of space for dining in.

Good place. Their coffee is really good. And the pastries are good too. Both the savory and the sweet. They use to be 5 stars but then they either changed owners or chefs and the quality went down but it is still good

I love Oasis café & bakery! I wish I knew the name of everything that i’ve eaten there, but I usually just point to items in the case and the(very friendly) staff is always happy to help. Prices are very reasonable and quality is great. Being so busy in there, you know there’s a high turnover and everything is fresh. Their coffee is also the best in the area(and with so many coffee shops in the Medford/Somerville area, that says a lot!) The only recommendation that I have is please don’t make the iced coffee by adding a lot of ice to hot coffee. it really waters it down and makes for a disappointing cup(especially when you’re expecting an iced coffee that’s on par with the amazing-ness of the hot coffee). Other than that, keep doing what you’re doing!

Great place! Incredible value and high quality for a bargain price. Excellent homemade style Brazilian buffet available Monday-Friday by the pound or all you can eat for $ 9.99. I’m vegetarian and I usually avoid Brazilian restaurants because of all the meat, but I was very happy here with the buffet. I ate a lightly dressed green salad(with escarole and other greens, not just iceberg), black beans, rice with vegetables, flavorful chick pea/olive salad, which was my favorite, carrot salad, mashed potatoes and corn bread. There were even more vegetarian options(fried plantains, polenta, French fries, a second kind of beans) but no more room on the plate. All that rang up at $ 5.91 before tax and tip. The young man at the bakery counter was very nice about finding out if the options I chose were truly vegetarian-they were. This is a fantastic choice for someone who really likes meat and a vegetarian to dine together happily. Both salads had mysterious ingredients I could not identify, which appeals to my adventurous side. Instead of going back for seconds to the buffet, I got a passion fruit custard, one of a wide selections of flans, custards and cakes for $ 3.75. This was very pretty and light, with four layers including a thick layer of whip cream. Only minor complaints: the mashed potatoes were salty and there was a draft in the dining room from the main door in the next room.

Delicious breakfast options for everyone! Whether you’re looking for sweet or savory, this place has got you covered. *Breakfast plates are well worth it! The breakfast potatoes are SOCRISPY and perfectly salted. I really enjoyed these! There’s several different options with eggs, your choice of meat, toast, and potatoes *Acai bowls: I think I’m too spoiled from the acai bowls in socal, so I was a little disappointed by this one. A little too sweet and a little too watery for me. Toppings are just standard with bananas, strawberries, granola, and honey. But if you’re craving one, this could get the job done *Pao de queijo: CHEEZYPILLOWSOFGOODNESS! So soft and so chewy mmmm. I love these little cheese balls and they’re 4 for $ 1! If I lived any closer, I’d be coming here every day to satisfy my craving. Must get, especially if they’re warm There are so many options here it can get a little overwhelming, but I’ve liked everything we’ve tried so far! Everyone knows I’m a sucker for bread, so their bakery case full of baked goods is extremely tempting!

you’re hungry. you’ve got the world’s worst case of the munchies. it’s saturday morning. you’re hungover, or not hungover. you don’t want to wait an hour for local brunch, but you want BREAKFAST. this jersey girl is all for quality diner food! and delicious brazilian food! all under one roof! not since i lived near bom café have i had the pleasure of a little café that — spoiler alert — SERVESBREAKFASTALLDAY. the jersey girl in me is more excited than you can imagine. and this place delivers! veggie omelet with steak on the side? yes please! done and done! expertly crisp, seasoned homemade home fries. enormous portion. toasted, lightly buttered, griddled english muffin. fresh squeezed orange acai smoothies. YES, PLEASE. i hear their subs are legit but have yet to try them. lots of bakery goods, too, but i haven’t tried them yet, either. my friend got the X-Oasis burger. what’s that, you say? off the menu, «All sandwiches come with ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, corn, peas, potato sticks and mayo.» that is correct. also, according to the menu, it also contains«steak, burger, bacon, chicken, and egg. Served with fries.» what it doesn’t say is that it’s THEWORLD’S MOSTGIGANTICLOADEDBURGERWITH A DOUBLEWHAMMYOFAMAZINGFRESH-CUTSKINNYFRIES. my friend and i both have enormously hearty appetites, but suffice it to say that he polished off half of the sandwich and most of the fries, and still had a huge portion left over for dinner. the dudes next to us were ogling that sandwich masterpiece, «YEAH, THAT’S WHATWEWANTNEXTTIME!» think junkyard burger, etc. for those who are familiar. prices are very kind, and gentle. which means that i’ll totally be back. and bringing all my friends! because hooray for an awesome local joint with great food, not far from where i currently live!

First time eating here, and I’m very disappointed with the food and extremely confused by the reviews. The food is pretty gross… Well, at least the French toast, scrambled eggs, ham, and home fries I ordered were gross. I can’t speak on the rest of their menu, but about 90% of my food is currently sitting in the trash because I couldn’t stomach it. I’m happy for all of you who appear to like this food. However, I will never eat from this place again. I’ve never regretted spending $ 16 so badly.

Steak bomb sub: 5 stars Assorted pastries: 3.5−4 stars Service: 5 stars Steak bomb sub was divine. Generous with meat and deliciously melted cheese. With your first bite, you just know the bread is fresh out the oven and they have to make the bread themselves to get it this good. Omg salivating at I’m thinking about this Pastries — when I asked if they could warm some of them up(ie. churro) they looked at me confused. I think they understood me, the problem was that i dont think there’s a way to warm it up… Churro — filled with dulce de leche. Get it. It’s one of the best churros I had even though it was cold! Arroz con leche — good, but nothing mind blowing. Nice flavors with the cinnamon too Yellow cake with chocolate(ganache) frosting — basic. Tasted just a little bit better than a yellow cake out of the box. Nothing special. Would not get again Service — we were pretty indecisive about what we wanted, but they were really nice, patient and gave us recommendations. They’ll bring your food to you and they’ll bus your table too

Acai bowl! Great for a summer day. The only thing I didn’t like was i found out this place existed after I lived in cambridge for two years! Why couldn’t I have known sooner?!

I live a short walk from this place, and always have said that we should come and try it out. It just never ended up happening, probably because of the fear that it could be difficult to decide what to order and how to order it. This is likely the result of our awesome but sometimes charade-like interactions at Pastilara in East Somerville, where it was sometimes hard to order in English(which I totally get of course, it’s just sometimes you want ordering to be easy!) So then we we had to point at items, and then said things in our respective language at 10 times the normal volume, and ultimately smiling and laughing instead. However, here we had a very simple but equally amazing food experience. The young man at the counter(I think his name was Andrew?) was extremely pleasant and asked us if we had any questions about the menu. When I asked about the pao de queijo he explained that the little ones were 4 for a dollar(!) so we of course ordered four of those. I think my only complaint is that while they were delicious, they were not served warmed up. We also ordered two iced coffees and he asked if we wanted caramel in them. When someone asked if you want caramel in your coffee as though it was milk and sugar, you say yes. This was a good choice. My fiancé ordered a linguica and egg sandwich and the bread was amazing. I ordered a small acai bowl and it was magical and also enormous. The acai base was a like an extremely thick smoothie and the flavor was equivalent to more delicious blueberry flavor. It was topped with granola, then bananas and strawberries and drizzled in condensed milk(which almost tasted like honey in this concoction). I absolutely loved it! I can only compare it to the refreshing nature of a smoothie but with the satisfying/filling likeness of a bowl of oatmeal or a parfait. I do also agree though with another review that said that some signs on the pastries the cases would be helpful to those that have no idea what they are. While everyone was perfectly capable of explaining each item, it would have been great to not feel the need to ask ‘what’s that’ for every item, and we may have sampled even more!

How is it I have lived less than a mile away from this place for years but never found my way inside before? Breakfast all day and Sandwiches on KILLER fresh baked rolls, golden crusty deliciousness wrapped around a fluffy light bread. Fresh ingredients and a large delicious selection of tasty pastries. Sandwiches are perfect to split/share with a friend as they come on two individual rolls. The prices put this hidden gem well in the reach of most budgets and if your anything like me after your first visit your already planning a second.

Great selection of food to choose from and they serve breakfast all day. Prices are cheap for a breakfast sandwich $ 3 and breakfast platters for $ 5. Food is tasty and service is nice. Definitely coming back here for a breakfast a couple times a month!

Pretty darn impressed so far! I have tried several different pastries as well as savory breakfast foods, and LOVED it! The iced coffee is also great! Love the egg, cheese, and liguica on a French roll! My only real criticism is that I wish they had little signs to explain what their pastries are. As someone who is not so familiar with Brazilian/Portuguese cuisine, it would be super helpful. It is pretty obvious that it is a neighborhood fav, since it seems to be busy no matter what time of day I go! I am thrilled that it is just a breezy little walk from my apartment!

Since my last visit to Oasis Brazilian Steakhouse(yup, it has been a while!), they’ve spread out and opened themselves a bakery on the corner, offering pastries, desserts, sandwiches, breakfast, and drinks both hot and cold, We stopped by because we wanted a snack and a place to hang for a bit. They have a set of four seats by a window counter in the corner to the right, and several tables and chairs set to the left where a number of folk(families included) made themselves comfy and enjoyed a sandwich or a snack. We split the small Acai Bowl $ 5.99 and a slice of the Pudim dessert $ 3.75. The Pudim was basically flan, yummy eggy, not too sweet stuff. The Acai bowl was newer to both of us. With fruit and granola on top and a healthy drizzle of honey, we were surprised to find the acai stuff on the bottom to be cold slushy stuff. I think I was expecting a pudding or something. But this was not an unpleasant surprise. With the textural and temperature contrast with the toppings, it was quite a treat! Although I was a little sad to find out afterwards from reading the Unilocal reviews that ours was missing the condensed milk with would have made it even better(or so they say)! With free wifi with a password, this is a nice place to pass a bit of time. Just keep an eye out on the parking time limits — they seem to be 2 hours in this neighborhood, pay at the machines. For my next visit, I have my eye on a softball sized sugared pastry filled with cream for about 2 bucks.

Ignore the pastries. They look interesting and tasty but all the ones I’ve tried were bland and disappointing. Go straight for the acai bowls! The small is more than enough for one person, could probably even split it between two. I always ask for sweetened condensed milk to be drizzled on top, because they don’t do it sometimes depending on who’s making it. Haven’t tried their real breakfast dishes yet, but they seem pretty popular here. Also, if you have time, check out the steakhouse next door for a bust-your-gut mouthwatering Brazilian buffet.

Get the bread rolls in the morning!!! $ 0.25 a piece! They’re warm and fresh and amazing! Brazilian style sandwiches are the best. They’re a large amount of food — a huge hamburger type sandwich with ham, cheese, corn, fried potato sticks, and peas on top — for a really low price. Plus fries. Fries for days. You can also buy frozen coxinhas and they will deep fry them for you if you ask. Coxinhas are little bundles of joy filled with cheese and chicken. Great for small get togethers or solo drunk food binging. They will change your life.

Excellent! My parents live right down the street from the Oasis, and we stopped here for breakfast early one morning en route to a wedding in New York. At first glance, I was overwhelmed and very tempted by the amazing choice of pastries that Oasis offers. They have a beautiful selection in the display case, and I hope to come back to try some. What we ended up getting, however, and what this review is for, is the traditional breakfast options. I ordered the two-egg special, and my parents both went with the vegetarian omelets. You order at the counter, and then they bring the plates out to you. I took special note of the fact that the prices there were incredibly cheap compared to Seattle, where I live. I can’t think of anywhere in Seattle where you can get any kind of breakfast plate for under $ 5, but you can at the Oasis. You order coffee in one of two sizes, and then help yourself at the coffee self-serve counter. They offer Brazilian(strong and very delicious) and Columbian coffee(I didn’t try it, but my dad said it was good). They also have a large thermos of hot milk available, in addition to the traditional coffee accoutrements. I usually drink black coffee, but wanted to have mine«the Brazilian way», and the hot milk with the strong Brazilian coffee was just right, and better than anything I have every ordered from my usual favorite chain coffee store in Seattle! As for the food, well, it was very good, especially considering the price. There isn’t a whole lot you can say about breakfast food, in my opinion, but my over-easy eggs were fried perfectly, the home fries had a bit of a kick to them, and my parents greatly enjoyed their very large vegetable omelets. Service here is friendly and casual. There aren’t a ton of tables, so if you come when it is busy it might be difficult to sit down, and it wouldn’t be a good place for large groups. But if you just want a good, fast, inexpensive breakfast, Oasis rocks!

Come hungry and order one of everything. Seriously! Oh and bring a friend to share the food since you’re going to need the help. Everything I ordered was amazing: 1. Buffalo Chicken sandwich — crusty, soft baguette-style bread, creamy blue cheese, with a generous amount of buffalo-coated chicken 2. The Acai Bowl with granola, bananas, and strawberries — large portion and very refreshing for summer 3. Cashew fruit juice — tasted like a slightly sweeter version of pineapple juice 4. Coxingha — the brilliance of cream cheese and chicken baked inside a cornmeal pocket… the best! This establishment is frequented by many local Brazilians which seems to suggest patrons are receiving a somewhat authentic experience one can get outside of Brazil when they come here. If I could eat here every day, for every meal, I would in a heartbeat.

ACAIBOWLS! I’ve been searching for a place that serves Acai Bowls since moving to the East Coast and this place definitely satisfies that craving. People here usually don’t know what it is or have never heard of it. It’s a perfect healthy breakfast/snack/dessert. Acai bowls are good anytime :]] If you don’t know what it is, it is sorta like a Acai flavored slush/smoothie topped with granola and fresh fruit(usually strawberries, bananas and blueberries) and drizzled with Agavi nectar. At Oasis, they also add condensed milk which makes it even more DELICIOUS. A small is a pretty decent size and filling for $ 6.50. Comparable to what is made in SoCal. Not only does this place have Acai Bowls, but they serve BREAKFASTALLDAY! Oasis has an extensive menu from eggs, omelets, pancakes, breakfast sandwiches and burritos, subs and Brazilian sandwiches. There is also a selection of pastries, cookies, cakes and desserts displayed in glass. So many choices, I wish my stomach was bigger sometimes so I could try more things when I am there! On the left the register, there are warm meat bread pastries which are pretty tasty. I have also tried a few of the other savory pastries on the right of the register. All pretty yummy. The little cheese puff balls are good when they are hot and fresh. mmm x Oasis Sandwich: 9 layers of awesome! GIGANTIC stack of hamburger, beef, chicken, bacon, egg, lettuce, tomato, peas, corn, and string fries stuck between 2 huge hamburger buns. Very hearty and dense. Great sandwich for meat lovers! ItThis also comes with some tasty fries, crispy outside and soft inside. So much food, definitely shareable and a little messy to eat! Buffalo chicken Sub: Buffalo chicken with lettuce and tomatoes drizzled with ranch on a french baguette. ALSOHUGE! This was alright, I don’t particularly like buffalo chicken that much though. Love this place, free wifi, reasonable prices for lots of flavor filled food, and so many options. I don’t think I could ever get tired of this place! Con: Charges 25 cents for tap water.
