I had never been here before but was desperately needing a new muffler. I went to at least 2 other auto shops who quoted me over $ 300 for the fix. Monro Muffler went above and beyond to avoid replacing the whole part and had a MUCH cheaper resolution for my Nissan. They did a great job! I would highly recommend.

I have been taking my cars to Monroe for oil changes and repair work for over 15 years, and cannot say enough about them. They are always courteous and honest, and will never sell or fix anything that is not necessary. It’s so hard to find an honest mechanic, so I’m thrilled I found them years ago and they will ALWAYS get my business and I sing their praises every day to friends and family. Steve is the best and all the other guys make for a great team. You can’t go wrong choosing this facility for all your vehicle needs.

Took my car to Jiffy Lube to get an oil change. They tried to charge me 79 for the oil change alone then tried to tell me both my filters were dirty. I said no way to the 79 dollars.
Took my car to Monroe, was quoted a price of 39 for synthetic blend oil. Scheduled an appointment, took about 40 minutes. When it was time to pay the guy who quoted me 39 said he was wrong it is only 29.
I asked about filters, he said they were fine. The next day my car started making a funny noise. Thought it might be from the oil change. They took the time to check it out, turns out it was a rock causing the noise and had nothing to do with the oil change. They charged me nothing

Took vehicle full tank at the gas station across their business, they drove my vehicle 53 miles, used ¼ tank of gas and later denied. This was for a power steering repair of $ 488.00. Honesty is not their strength. I only was expecting an apology. It’ was my first time and last with them.

Not knowing anything about cars, other than when my maintenance light comes on its time for an oil change, it can be intimidating walking into a car service business. The guys at Monro are extremely friendly and non-​judgmental (at least not to my face!). They are best known for their low priced oil changes but what keeps me coming back are the nice people and the quickness of the job.
The other day it was time for my next oil change so I dropped my car off to get pampered. Apparently it was time for a new cabin air filter, and if you have my knowledge of cars then you have no idea what that means either. They gave me a call to let me know what was going on and never once assumed that I knew what they were talking about. They explained to me what the part was, why it was important, and how much it cost. That was it, the car was ready 15 minutes later and my car and I were off riding into the sunset.
