Medford Waxing

JoAnn and her staff are amazing. As a relative newbie to waxing, they made me feel comfortable, I did not feel like I was ‘having a treatment’ I felt more like I was hanging out with a friend. Even thought they are 70 miles from my house, I have already made my next appointment, and will continue to go back.

This place is organized, has reasonable prices, is clean and quick. It’s easy to schedule, to find and to park. They do a pretty good job on waxing the brow and other areas of the face. My only real complaint is that the women who waxed me did not clean off the areas on my face before waxing which in my experience most places do. It usually helps reduce the redness and skin irritation on my face afterwards which I had quite a bit of this time. She did use lavender oil afterwards which was nice. I recommend coming here because they are so on it, fast and give you a good looking brow in the end.

It takes a very specific personality type to neutralize the potential awkwardness of getting a wax service. JoAnne’s is very much that person. She’s super personable, but professional, and you really don’t think twice about it as soon as you meet her. On top of that, she’s experienced and knowledgeable. The service itself is as painless as it can be (all things considered), she uses the correct type of wax, is very sanitary, and is efficient and effective. She’s also really cool about my occasional last-​minute requests to squeeze in a brow wax (: Seriously, you’ll be in good hands here.

Best group of girls around. Always do great work and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! I get my nails done every two weeks and have been going to Joanne for over a decade. They are friendly and professional.

This was my first experience going to a professional to get a wax. I got a brazilian, and JoAnn was so accommodating and professional. She is very comfortable to be around, and makes conversation while easing any anxieties. She did a great job and I was very pleased with the results. The price wasn’t bad, either. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to get waxing done.

this was my first time ever getting a Brazilian and my under arms waxed. I was going to do full legs as well but JoAnn recommended I wait for more grow out (impressive considering she could have made more money but chose to do it right instead-​huge respect for that)
I was anticipating the Brazilian to be excruciatingly painful but I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t. There were two strips that made me need a moment to breathe but other then that it was fine.
The underarms I barely even felt.
JoAnn is incredibly professional and puts you at ease; even with your bum in the air. We talked about everything, she even had me laughing most of the appointment.
I HIGHLY recommend Medford Waxing and JoAnn for all your waxing needs.

I recently moved to Medford, and didn’t know of any places to get my nails done and got lucky when I tried this place. I went here for an important day and they did a great job. The staff was super nice. The place was clean and organized. I will definitely come back in the future.
