Food was very good, pretty basic but they do it well. The chicken was juicy and not overcooked and the rice was good. Tasted pretty good with the Teriyaki and Sweet Chili sauce. Owner seemed very friendly and my god you get alot of chicken! Good lunch spot! I will be back

Par for the course… can’t expect a whole lot, but it’s decent and gets the job done late at night after drinking it up at the bars. This is a simple meat and rice dish… I wouldn’t even consider it bento or plate lunch as there are no sides like Mac salad, pot stickers etc. Consistently simple and open very often. Couple of sauces to dump on and flavor it up. Girls working are always cordial– nothing above average, and not below. The chicken and beef have never been overcooked when I’ve gone… But then again, i generally only go after hitting up the bars. Average in many senses of the word but worth return visits for the same reason.

Only tried this bento place because G’s was closed and man was it disappointing. I asked if they did steak/chicken combo plates and she said yes but the steak was already put away for the afternoon and she wasn’t going to get it out, which to me is ridiculous. Then I come to find out they only give you meat and rice, no salad or Mac salad which would have mad this an actual bento. The chicken was alright nothing special, and the rice was jasmine which is wrong for bentos. «Best bento in town» their sign claims which is a load of crap!!! Not even a real bento and even if it were it would be disappointing. Don’t waste your time or money on this place, if you want the real best bento in town then go to G’s and see what a real quality bento looks and tastes like.

Used to have a store front but now they’re set up outside with 2 massive grills year round. Your choice of chicken or steak and brown rice or white. They have a bucket of sauces to dress up the meal, including sriracha, soy sauce, and teriyaki sauce. The chicken was pretty good surprisingly– very juicy. You get a TON of it though, so I don’t think I’ll be wanting that much meat any time soon. We went at noon and there were only a handful of people in line. My only complaint is they don’t have any veggies! Also they have square so you can use your card. Can’t really go wrong for $ 8.

Tasty fare! This place is pretty well known, because of the big food cart downtown. The chicken is that amazing combo of crispy char and super juicy. The rice isn’t over cooked, and has a great flavor. Next time, I’ll forgo the grilled veggies, in favor of more of the meat. Veggies were varied, tasty, and well done… but I’m more used to the usual heaping helping of the grilled meat. From this location, I’ve only had the chicken/veggie…but the beef from Central is pretty good too. It’s next on the list. No glitz or glam here. This is street food bento at a great price, and well-executed! Nice people too. Worth the trip.
