Jacks has good food and the great thing is they are open 24 hrs. They could have much better customer service though. It is 1:50am and I understand it could have been a long day but if I pass to a 24hr drive thru I expect at least descent customer service. The drive thru girl with pink hair pretty rude.

Received a coupon in the mail for a bogo deal on the new«buttery jack». It took about 6 or 7 minutes of waiting in the drive thru, around 815 pm last night, so I figured that they were making us some fresh burgers! Oh yah! Got home and had to heat mine up in the microwave(it was cold… obviously not fresh… eww) and even after heating it, I took a bite and it was HORRIBLE. I didn’t say anything to my son, but after heating his and taking a bite, I could see it on his face. He said it was the worst burger he had ever eaten. We trashed them both. Disgusting. The worst fast food I have EVER received. Gross.

Went through drive thru, got strawberry shake. Got home and son said it was bad, so bad he was coughing and gagging. Smelled it & it smelled like mold and cleaner. Call them to let them know and the girl said«well we’ve been selling them and haven’t had any other complaints so we’re not giving you a refund.» Ummm… ok. Anyway I told her she had the wrong idea. We don’t want a refund, I wasn’t going to driving back across town for 3 bucks, just wanted to let them know they needed to check the machine. She said«huh» snottily and hung up on me. Anyway I understand employees have bad days, especially working a job like that. However a restaurant that doesn’t take a complaint like that will continue to serve rotten, moldy, tainted ect food is a place I would not want to eat at.

UPDATED– 6−2−15 — the staff has turned over and service is now as expected. I eat here regularly and have no complaints. I dont usually put up reviews, but this place needs a new owner. I have been here several times and rarely has both the food and service been good at the same time. Here are some highlights: 1) I have had some mild food poisoning symptoms after eating at this place, but didn’t think much of it. This last time, both myself and my daughter got rather sever«undesirable» food poisoning symptoms. 2) The lady taking orders at the drive through often has trouble understanding me, after a while, I just give up, or she goes and gets somebody else. 3) I ordered easy ice and got easy soda. The cup was literally two inches short of being filled. 4) I asked what deals they had for breakfast. The lady pointed me to a combo, I told her I just wanted a sandwich. She offered me no deals on a sandwich, I ordered a supreme croissant for $ 3. I roll up to the window and there is a sign«TWO supreme croissants for $ 3»! 5) More than half my sandwiches were smashburgers — I swear some of these have knuckle prints in them like someone took their fist and smashed the sandwich with it. I expect some of this from a fast food place, but i really get the feeling that they just dont care here.

Not have again: combo meal — we did not discover our order was missing the fries until we had left — we only had a simple order of three sandwiches and three drinks, so there is no reason the fries should have been missing.

This place get +1 star for being open 24⁄7 and +1 star for having a few decent items on the menu. It also gets –3 stars for having horrible service. «We’re out of cheese.» and«The milkshake machine is down.» are just some of the various lines I’ve heard. I went here a few weeks ago around 3AM to get me and a few friends some late night burgers. We went through the drive-through(we were the only people) and ordered 3 of the $ 1 burgers. As we were pulling up to the window we realized we forgot one. I asked the girl at the window, «Hey, could we also get a-» and she interrupted, saying we weren’t able to add onto our order at the window. So we got our food and went around again(we were still the only people here… and we felt pretty stupid). We heard the same«welcome to Jack in the Box» speech from the same girl and asked if we could get our final sandwich. This time as we pulled through we noticed a poster stating last-minute add-ons at the window were allowed. Guess she didn’t get the memo.
