Fisher’s Appliance Service

I have used this person twice. He is extremely rude and poor communicator. He charges 200% — 300% more than rest of the guys and talks like he is doing you a favor.
He is complete rip –off to the point, it could be called dishonest and stealing. I used him because he was available at the time while other repair service, i used, were not.
he charged me few 100s more than what others would first time. Next time on another service call he quoted me similar unreasonably enormous amount, I paid him visiting fee and At that point I reached out to my original company and they replaced same part at $ 250 less than what this guy is quoting and did a better job, clearer, honest, professional communication.
I am very trusting person so went for him first time and 2^nd and didn’t cross check.
its a shame. i would recommend to stay away from him.

I needed to repair my gas dryer and another repair service kept denying anything was wrong with the dryer and said get your dryer vent cleaned (which I have already done). Fisher’s was recommended to me by 3 local residents so I gave him a call. The owner IS the repairman. He had a 1 – 3 pm window and arrived at around 1:15 pm, which was great! Most repairmen have arrived at the end of the window, not the beginning. Anyway, he spent 5 minutes talking to me about the problem and within minutes, knew what the problem may have been. He fixed it within 30 minutes and I am a very happy customer for life! He even adjusted my washer machine’s drain tubing, which wasn’t part of the service call. John Fisher is a great man and I think he’s worth the price. Others who’ve complained on Unilocal are sour grapes because you are paying someone for their time, whether the appliance can be repaired or not. I know about service calls because I used to be a computer repairmen and our time is money. He’s highly recommended!!! You won’t be sorry!

We have been using Fisher’s Appliance Service for at least 12 years, maybe more. The owner himself comes out and does the repairs. He could not be more honest and lets us know what’s worth fixing and what’s just going to break again. He has fixed our refrigerator, washer, dryer, microwave, stove, and dishwasher over the years. He always works around our schedule. I completely trust him and am grateful for the fast, reliable help he has provided us over the years.

Don’t use this company. Rip off. When I called to make appointment I was told that he would be able to fix my washer and the $ 108 would go towards the repair. When he came to look at the washer he looked at it for 5 minutes and said that it is not repairable and charged me $ 108 service fee just for coming. I had disconnected the washer and he only partly connected it when he was looking and hence I am not sure if this person knows what he is doing
