Was introduced to Michael Hayes to discuss a potential home and land sale followed by a condo purchase. He was referred to me because a specific skill set. In the three weeks since the initial introduction, he never made an appointment to meet or showed interested in developing a working relationship. Mike recently called thinking he was speaking to a realtor colleague — said disparaging things about a potential new client(me) which showed lack of professionalism but exposed his true nature. When he finished berating the potential client(still not knowing it was me) I casually re-introduced myself and let him know he was speaking to me and not his realtor colleague. From this mis-dial, I learned a lot about Mike’s character and the way he conducts business. And no, he didn’t attempt to apologize for his lack of professionalism and propriety.

We highly recommend Dan Fabbri as your realtor. Last year, around May 2012, we were planning to sell our single family home in Malden. We interviewed eight realtors. Each interviewer spent more than an hour with us, and we asked a long list of 20 questions. In the end, we chose Dan Fabbri. We hired Dan Fabbri due to his experience in the local market, his network, his presentation, his flexible fee, and his honesty. It took us eight months to write this review as we want to let time pass by and to verify if we sold our house at best possible price given the market conditions. We sold our house within 10 days of our listing day. Our house was closed within a month. Initially we were thinking about spending extra money to upgrade the countertops, but Dan suggested us not to do it as we would not get an equal return. His suggestion saved us money, and he sold our house quickly at a good price. Note that Dan is very busy, but his team is always available and responsive. He will be there for you for the important times. From our experience, you want to hire a busy realtor rather than an idle one. Good luck!
