If no stars were a choice, I would have picked that. I went to the store in Haddonfield and requested a book from a specific series. The owner said he had books in his Medford store but was somewhat unwilling to bring it to Haddonfield because it was such a big seller in Medford. I told him it was for a baby shower gift and after I promised to come back the next week, he finally agreed to bring them to the Haddonfield store. When I called to see if the book was in on the agreed upon day, I was told it would be in the next day. I went to the store the next day and was told he had gotten my request mixed up with a different book. I had my choice between the wrong book and a used book that had a broken spine. Don’t bother to even go in the store.

While the proprietor was very nice I feel a bit bamboozled that I bought a used hardcover book at full price when it has been out for over a year. Any other bookstore would have it discounted. I will not be going back.

When I was a little girl this shopping center was the hub of the Medford universe, but then it started to decline. I’m happy to say it’s on it’s way back! With great new shops like the book swap! My friend and I met on saturday, we started off at starbucks and ambled down to the bookswap. I even brought two huge shopping bags full of used books. They give you 10% off new books or 25% of used books for every book you give. It’s a small store, but even with three or four adults and a toddler in a stroller it didn’t feel cramped. They have a huge children’s section. Definitely stop in if you are in town! Also it’s a great stop on your way to the beach if you go the back way to OC or LBI!
