Anytime Fitness

Way too small for the price of a membership. $ 40 a month plus joining fee’s were pretty steep. Basically the same price as superior but a much smaller gym. I give it 2 stars for the 24 hour access and the private locker rooms with private showers. Other than that I wasn’t sold on a membership. They made me pay a $ 20 deposit just to have a 24 hour key card during the 7 day trial and if I went with a 2 week trial it was only limited to staff hours. Plus on top of that I noticed the weights at this gym were significantly lighter then what they claim to be. They use plastic dumbbells and weight plates which were light compared to what I normally lift at Superior with metal plates. If you want a small gym to do cardio and a little bit of strength training ²⁴⁄₇ with private locker rooms this plate is great. If you are a serious lifter and want a good workout go somewhere else.

This Anytime Fitness location is pretty nice. The machines and equipment are all new and high-​quality, and everything is always very clean. Additionally, it’s still new enough that traffic is pretty low and it never seems to be that busy.
Perhaps most importantly, it’s easy to cancel! I had been a member here for a couple of years and had stopped going recently (since I ride bikes everywhere and haven’t had any time for the gym). I went in to cancel, expecting at least some kind of hassle or «notice» period and there wasn’t any. No problem. I was in and out in under five minutes, which is a first for me – having moved around a bit in the past, I know that canceling a membership at a gym can be harder than convincing a Kirby salesman that you really don’t need a new vacuum cleaner. People don’t tend to think about these things until the time comes, but it will be a great peace of mind to have, should I ever decide to join again (which I might, since the location is very close to my house).
All in all, highly recommended.

It is not worth your money… They are incredibly expensive for what little they offer. Not to mention you never see the staff. When you do call they don’t get back to you for a week or more. Not to mention their billing sucks. If they over charge you they do not refund you. I called and notified them I did not want to continue my membership that expired and I still got charged for another month and the billing told me they couldn’t do anything about it.
