Zen Nail & Spa

I have been going here for years and they do great work. It is extremely clean and doesnt have that bad smell from all of the polish/​chemicals like some salons do. I always feel very relaxed and comfortable here. It is also well priced.
They really know how to do a good french pedi/​mani. They also do waxing but i recommend making an appointment ahead of schedule to ensure somebody is there who does waxing.

I had a little time to kill, so I gave Zen Nail a call to see if they could take me in without an appointment. They said to come right in, which was a pleasant surprise.
I got myself a manicure with a fun holiday color. While my attendant was nice, it was hard to understand her, and I felt bad for having to ask her to repeat herself several times when she asked a question.
I will say that this was the best filing job I’ve had — in the sense that she was able to mimic the natural shape of my nail instead of going straight across or completely rounded — the only 2 ways I’ve ever seen it done. However, I did have to ask for a bottom coat, something I thought was pretty standard.
Also the desks are set up with a very small finger bowl that doesn’t really do its job well since both hands can’t comfortably fit in it and I was afraid of tipping it over. Also, there was a fan I was supposed to be using to dry my nails in between coats, but I couldn’t quite figure out how to comfortably cross my arms to reach it while still maintaining a stable hand for the manicurist. So while the staff was nice, the salon doesn’t seem quite set up right for the comfort of the client.

Fabulous, clean and very accomodating group. i have been going there for about a year and I have never had a problem. Their mani/​pedi is reasonably priced and all of their manicurists are professional and very nice. I enjoy my french manicures with very thin lines and all of their associates listen to my request. I always feel welcomed!
