3rd year in a row cutting down our own tree from Windy Knoll. It’s such a fun experience and I’m so glad we started this tradition. My kids love the wagon ride out to the field and it’s great to see the full effect of what your tree will look like. They provide hand saws. The staff is very helpful. They have a machine that shakes all the dead pines out and they wrap it and tie it on top of your vehicle for transport.

Last two years we’ve cut our Christmas trees here. Greatest family tradition ever. Lots of fun for all. I truly believe that everyone working here is having fun. They’ll shake wrap and load your tree for you too.

Went her over the weekend with my family to cut our own Christmas tree. This place was huge! They have white pine and scotch pine trees. They also have saws, so you don’t have to bring your own. My son loved the wagon ride to the field… he is obsessed with tractors. Once you cut your tree, they will load it up on to the wagon and take you back to the cottage where they will shake it clean and bale it up. They will even load it and secure it onto your car. I tried to give them a tip, but they don’t accept tips. The people were very courteous. This is the start to a long family tradition. The tree was $ 45, but the memories will be priceless.
