Tuckaway Harbor Child Development

Tuckaway Harbor is a wonderful, safe place for your child. Our son (now 4yrs old) has been attending Tuckaway since last summer.
I write this review because I feel it is important to acknowledge when someone is doing an outstanding job! We have had less than exemplary daycare from a couple of other centers in the area and were a little apprehensive about placing our son anywhere else. I am a very protective mother of a wonderful little boy.
However, it was one of the best decisions we’ve made for him and his daily care. He loves his teachers, has made wonderful friends and looks forward to going to ‘school’ every day. He enjoyed the summer program where they provide no cost swimming lessons and is looking forward to this summer session.
I am extremely excited about their new Private Kindergarten program beginning Fall ’12. If you want a caring environment that nurtures your child’s development, then consider Tuckaway Harbor.

This place has been a godsend for our family. After two other centers and many issues, it was surpising to find somewhere so great so close by. Great Department of Social Services inspection records, strong, long-​term management and many teachers there for the long haul. Healthy, on-​site cooked meals. The amount of exercise the children get (especially in summer) is great, with their own pool and on-​site PE instruction both indoor and outdoor. Age-​appropriate curriciulum and activites, very good team of staff working together, nice facilities and huge, safe playground and many activities. Way to go Heather and team! And, we are paying less than before!
