Primo Pizza

Tasty pizza/​sub joint. No pretensions but satisfying, friendly staff, quick service. Just 4 Formica type tables, looks like mostly a carry out place. We had pasta, a calzone & a sub. All good.

Food wasn’t bad, but attention to detail is poor. We ordered the «special» which included a 2 liter of Coke… needless to say we ate our dinner without any Coke. I didn’t bother to call the store to allow them to correct the error, as I will likely not be using primo again. I have a ZT policy for such occurrences. If you can’t make sure the order is complete I can only imagine what else is lacking and do not want to find out.

Our family eats here often. We especially love the pizza and Philly cheese steak (and chicken) subs.

Not my favorite pizza but I love the baked spaghetti! I get pasta delivered and it’s always good.

Everything we’ve tried has been great. Good portion sizes, good prices, hot and fast delivery. My family has tried the Pizza, Chicken Parm, Spaghetti, Steak and Cheese Sub, Chicken Tenders andToasted Ravioli. All were delicious!

This is the worst pizza I think I’ve ever had. Frozen pizza from the grocery store is better. We tried this pizza because it is close by. We ordered the pizza for pickup. The order taker sounded harried when he took the order and said the pizza would be ready in 15 minutes. Wow, that’s fast. We live 3 minutes away so decided to leave ten minutes after ordering. When we arrived, the pizza was already in the warmer. Usually when I pick up a pizza so fast, the cheese is piping hot and if you do not keep the box horizontal, the cheese will slide. Not so in this case. The pizza was cold by the time we got it home. The veggies were crunchy… as if they had not been cooked. It is my opinion that this pizza joint, during busy times, keeps several cheese pizza ready. When a customer calls, they throw on a few toppings and run it back through a warmer. That would account for the raw toppings and hardened cheese. Also, the crust was darker than it should have been, also indicative of the pizza being «pre-​made» and reheated. There are so many other choices for good pizza in Mechanicsville. I will never go to Primo’s again.

They have great deals, cheap prices and a lot of options! Open late and delivery. Best pizza in mechanicsville hands down!

Horrible customer service, I can’t even comment on the food because I never received it. I called and spoke to the manager on duty and he told me I would be refunded and given a credit on the purchase amount of my order. So the next day for lunch I decided to give them another shot. This time the manager on duty tells me there is no credit and he will not honor the other managers decision. Plain and simple, the worst customer service ever. I will not be trying anymore and will be spreading the word, there are to many options out there for the consumer to be treating us like this. STAY AWAY!
