Karns Quality Foods

This is our everyday grocery store. We love shopping here. The meat department is amazing, including all of the guys who work back there. They are always so ready to help and understand their purpose there. The checkout team, who should be the best customer service people in the store are pretty shotty. It’s hit or miss whether you will get someone who will actually talk to you. I feel you could lead the industry if you paid more attention to customer service.

I would have rated this place three stars but I cant. Reason? Karns is the best grocer for «Carne!» (pronounced Kar-​ney which means meat in Spanish) This place has a most solid meat department that far surpasses Weis, Giant and even Wegmans.
There is an actual team of butchers, who will carve the meat to your liking. There’s about every kind of meat you can imagine. The meat department has great customer service and will make cuts such as delmonico, or châteaubriand.
If you want produce, fresh baked goods or take home hot dinners, I recommend Giant or Wegmans for that. I feel Karns has good deals for odds and ends, boxed or froze crap and canned crap. I certainly would NEVER make a trip here just for produce and try to avoid getting leafy or fleshy produce here. Karnes is a solid choice if you’re gonna Fire up da grill!
