Pizzas are solid, sandwiches are great. Mother-in-law is gluten-free, and I was told the gluten-free bread is also good.

Overall it’s a family friendly place. That being said, lots of children run around here! They have a lot of games and machines for the kids… The food though! So good. Lots of great selections that are gluten free and yummy Italian pasta! The pizza was really good too. Defiantly check this place out if you don’t mind a wait and loud environment.

I decided to pick up the pizza here my first bite was pretty good along with the second and third but then when I got to the crust it seem like it wasn’t cooked enough and it kind of tastes like cardboard so I wasn’t really the biggest fan of their pizza

Just held a party here when we were in town for a hockey tournament and Jojo’s was great. They agreed to adjust the time of the party at the last minute, the staff was great, and they even got a birthday cake at a local place for dessert. Highly recommend for good food and service.

he pizza used to be so much better with the previous owner. I remember going there as a kid and the pizza was very good. Now that the new owner took over he puts less meat in subs, less sauce on pizzas and overall the pizza sucks. The only good thing there is salads because the only thing they have to do with them is make the chicken. Overall, I would not recommend jojos to anyone. This is also very overpriced now. I would much rather get a $ 5 little Ceasars pizza instead of a $ 15 jojos pizza. I got a Sicilian pizza that was doughy in the middle. Worst pizza ever. I’ve also heard the owner yelling and swearing at his emloyees. My wife feels very uncomfortable walking in the shop because one of the workers stares at my wife when she walks in. She doesn’t even want to go in anymore. The young kids that work there seen very nice that work there and seem to work very diligently but I don’t know how they can bear working there. My suggestion to them is to go to McDonald’s. Overall, If you want overpriced shitty food with an owner that does not seem to respect his workers feel free to go to jojos.

I would have gone for the 5th star but no pickles for my sandwich. Pizza is good but needs to be well done for a crisper crust.

A Mechanicsburg landmark, but really overpriced. Meatballs are not even homemade. Crust is consistent but cheese thickness and sauce quality is not. Save the money and pick Ziederellis.

Don’t limit yourself to just the pizza. If you are in Mechanicsburg, this is the place to eat pizza, subs, Italian dishes. Go there, bring a bottle of wine with you. Order at the counter, then find a seat. Good for kids too. Friendly!

Attended a birthday party at JoJo’s that featured pizza, cold heroes and exquisite cheese and ham boli that disappeared faster than ice in the July sun. The pizza is outstanding and straight-up took wifey and I by surprise; thin crust with just enough cheese to not feel gypped but not too much to prevent a classic neat NYC fold with an oozing overflow. I didn’t even bother with the usual dash of garlic and pepper flakes, which speaks volumes.

I feel bad for the other restaurants in Mechanicsburg because I always go to Jo Jo’s when I am in town. The Italian subs are HUGE and delicious. We have also ordered a variety of pizzas from here and other subs and nothing disappoints. The place just has a old pizza parlor feel to it. Take out or dine in… either one works. Tip: Italian sub at full size is fit for two… or me.

I stopped in after a run for some pizza. I ordered their two slice and pizza lunch special. The coke was unbelievably cold, it was delightful. The pizza was good but the one slice wasn’t really heated up well but it was still decent. The only thing i wished they had was parmesan cheese to sprinkle on the pizza. There are plenty of tables and i think there might be an extra dining area that i didn’t go in to.

Classic pizza joint, with great pizza and subs. I have been going here for years, and if anything the food has never changed. The pirces are reasonable, and the portions are great. I even had a privat party in the upstairs, which was great as well. The service is fine and very friendly. Would tell any out of towner if you want good pizza from the area stop by Jo Jo’s Only negative would be the parking, very small a tight, and if you are driving a full size pick up, I would recommend parking on the street out front. Other than that, go enjoy a slice

I have semi-fond memories of this establishment. This was the place my soon-to-be-at the time partner and I had a first date. They told me about the evils of high fructose corn syrup as I got an extra large Hawaiian Punch. Then we talked about nutrional labels and how they read every ingredient. The food, pizza, subs(they were vegetarian) and sides were all good. The servers and staff were nice. It seems like a local/regular place. No complaints. Clean establishment, decent prices. Then the partner left, taking the dog and most of the furniture. I don’t blame Jo-jo’s. But I haven’t been back much after that.

We stopped in at Jo Jo’s(had to because of the name :)) last weekend while in the area. Overall we found a great little pizza joint that really hit the spot. We kept things simple choosing to eat a white pizza and an order of fried ravioli. Both were excellent! Simple, hot, great Italian American food! We saw others ordering the Stromboli and they looked great as well. Might have to order that next time.

Pizza and sandwiches are excellent, but the stromboli is the best I’ve ever had anywhere on the planet. Everything here is homemade from the sandwich bread to the pizza sauce and it’s been owned and operated by the same family since it’s beginnings. This place is a true family-owned pizza shop using recipes handed down through generations. Can’t go wrong at a pizza place started by a guy named Sal! Make sure to give it a try if you’re in the area. I grew up in Mechanicsburg and now live across the country, but Jo Jo’s is THE first place I go for a meal every time I’m back to visit family, and it hasn’t changed a bit. That’s a good thing.

We’ve been to Jo Jo’s countless times, mostly because it’s walking distance. This marks the first time we tried their pasta. «We» is my seven-year-old and myself. The staff is always friendly. They comment on how big my son is getting and how it’s been so long since we’ve been in. Tonight, we went over for dinner. My son had spaghetti and meatballs in marinara sauce. They charged us for a child’s portion, but it was a pretty big bowl. The waitress brought us «shaker cheese» which he then covered his pasta with. The sauce was a little watery for my liking, but Alex dug in. This is a rare occurence where he finished his entire meal in the restaurant — and then DIDN’T fuss for dessert. I ordered the cheese lasagna. When it arrived, it was meat lasagna. Normally I would have just boxed it up to take home, but the only other thing I’d had today was two very large cups of coffee and the starter salad. My salad was simple and the oil and vinegar was the perfect balance. It was served with the bread — I am a sucker for homemade bread. I have ordered countless subs from Jo Jo’s and eaten the insides separately from that wonderful bread. I don’t know from meat lasagna, but this was okay. The sauce was bland and seemed a touch on the oily side. The cheeses seemed to be overtaken by the sauce, which to its credit really wasn’t spectacular. Again, this was saved by the bread that came out with my salad. In retrospect, I probably would have ordered something else. I still love this place for pizza and subs, but I don’t think I’ll be ordering pasta again soon.

I came in with some coworkers during lunch time. It was fairly crowded. But there was still some empty tables. I like the design where you can see the cook preparing the dough for pizza’s/Boli. I tried their Ham and Cheese Boli. It was so good. The bread is soft and chewy, nothing like you would get in Subways or the market. The tomato sauce tasted ok. But the Ham and cheese melted together was perfect. I plan to go there again this weekend!
