Great service. Good beer. The bartender stayed on top of things. I have been coming to Mechanicsburg ABC since they opened. My favorites are Chiili, Burgers and Mountain Nachos. The food and service is consistent. Try the Hoppy Trails one of the best IPA’s in the region.

Service was poor, server was rude! He poured soy sauce on my $ 300 coach purse! Manager said they will only reimburse me after I clean it and get a receipt! I got quoted over $ 100 since the soy sauce happen to spill on both sides and inside my purse staining the satin lining. Will never return and do not recommend this place! Ruined my mother inlaws 70th birthday!

Service was slow. The waiter seemed overwhelmed and was not attentive at all. The waiter didn’t know what the specials were. I ordered the kir royale which was on the special menu and was told there is no champagne so I can’t have the drink I wanted or the Bellini that would have been my second choice. The beers are average. The food was worth the 25 minute wait although my food wasnt as hot as I would have liked. The only reason I gave this 3 stars is because the food was delicious.

Mediocre food, kind of expensive. We went in for lunch and the food was no better than what I could throw together at home for a fraction of the cost. The building was empty, and the waitress tried to seat us at a table that was clearly in a blinding spotlight of sun. I probably wont go back… I wasn’t impressed. We had burgers. A friend came with me, and said the beer was«pretty good» but I don’t remember which particular brew he tried. For the money, I’d much rather go elsewhere.

We sat at the bar and the service was good… not too inattentive and not overly attentive. I split the bleu cheese balsamic chips with a friend and while they were delicious, I didn’t think they were worth $ 8. The switchback burger with ham, cheese, and bacon with a root beer bbq sauce was excellent and not overcooked for having it come out medium. The roll was fresh and the fries were good. I would come back to eat here again.

Love their collection of self made varieties that are so close to and at many times even surpass the flavor and texture of many imported beers! Not to mention the various choices of side dishes that play up the beer. Cheers!

Terrible!!! The food was just not edible. I can’t believe they have taken such a great location and turned it into not even passable food. They need a complete overhaul before they can match any other restaurants in our area!!!

Slow service!!! Lots of employees standing around. While we wait. And wait. And wait some more. Food is mediocre at best. Go somewhere else if you’re looking for minimally adequate service and decent food.

Not sure why this place has such a low overall rating. I went there last night and the place is spacious and laid out well. I liked all of the beers that I tried and the waitress was very friendly. I thought that the menu was a little limited but everything was reasonably priced. I ordered the rockfish tacos which were delicious. They were crunchy and spicy. I would highly recommend coming here. Not getting 5 stars because when I called for directions the host was unable to tell me how to get there(I was less than ¼ mile away on the same road) Also when I asked about prices in the store the woman never came back. I would suggest labeling everything in the store.

We love ABC! We always come here! The beer is good and so are the French fries. We always enjoy the service. Definitely try the peanut butter pie for dessert!

AVOIDATALLCOSTS! If you visited other ABC locations you will be sorely disappointed by the horrible representation of the brand at the Mechanicsburg location. I have been loyal to ABC for well over a decade, and was very excited when I learned that ABC would be 3 miles from my home. However, what I experienced was VERY poor service on so many occasions that my wife started to refuse to go there to eat(she loves ABC as well). We once sat at our table for 40 minutes before anyone even came to our table, because they«forgot» that was their table. Long wait times are common. Servers are not attentive or friendly and the manager, Natasha, is not any better. Actually, I think the management is most likely the biggest problem with this location, because systemic poor service is a set and tolerated at the Mechanicsburg location. They do not even take pride in their food. Most of my visits resulted in poor presentation, cold food, and disappointing taste. To top it off, the number of times I got my food and asked for another beer and 20 minutes later I locate a server or just go to the bar to get my beer is pathetic. My suggestion is to avoid this location at all costs. If you want to enjoy ABC, visit the original or Camp Hill location. I’m glad l kept my mug at Harrisburg, because I dropped my mug at Mechanicsburg and do not plan to ever visit there again. It took me a while to give up on something that I really wanted to enjoy. However, I think that speaks volumes about this location.

We had the fish tacos and the beer braised beef dip sandwich. The beers were the Outa Focus Double IPA, Aero-Head Bock, Happy Trails IPA and the Mountain Lager. Good food and good drinks make a good time.

Decided to try the all you can eat fish Friday. Huge servings, but the fish is tasteless. Pull off the breaded batter and the fish is best eaten plain. Brittany was a great server, professional and personable.

I firmly stand by my original review of 4 stars. When I have good service, and ABC is full, I have an awesome experience. There are several servers I have had and they are stellar. Some, not so much. Yes, I strayed a few nights from my beloved local ABC. I had a few negative experiences with other late night eateries. I have been schooled. I went to(yikes) Aroogas, Buffalo Wild Wings and(double yikes) «Your place Bar and Grille». The quality of food and service was not very good in comparison to ABC. ABC needs slight tweaking here and there. I just happen to be a night owl due to work hours and scheduling. Coming from a big city, I expect more from a brewing company during it’s open hours. Unfortunately, I am the very few in this side of town that straggles out for a late night brew and bite. I will not judge ABC due to the«lights off early» culture found in Silver Springs township.

Normally with the low rating on Unilocal I would have passed by. The guy at hotel recommended it so I went. Food was good, service was good and prompt. One of the reviews stated on burgers on menu, well they have a lot more. They even have pierogies. So they derisive the 4 stars!

A mechanicsburg location, wait staff said ready to order, no reading of the possible specials of the day. Ordered nachos with chili on the side. on the side s new concept. Presentation of nachos was that of barely out of school prep cook. people craft beer, eclectic food means awesome presentation not bar food pushing craft food.

This place has some rude employees. Came in sat at the bar with another friend and they would not even acknowledge us, and when we asked what drinks they have they just said«it’s hard to tell»… What?! We’ve come here twice and both times they’ve been rude for no reason. Idk if we are too young for this bar or what but there are by far better bars around, like Big Woodys or even Aroogas.

We arrived sometime between 8 and 9 pm and we were told the booth section was closed. We sat at a short table. I ordered White birch beer, my companions both ordered Root Beer. My first glass tasted weak, it tasted like club soda. I was very thirsty and finished the first glass off anyway. The refill tasted more like what I’ve had in a bottle from grocery store. Yum! The third refill tasted like club soda again. I left most of it behind when we left. I ordered a Special — short rib ravioli in beer cream sauce. My companions ordered the Pork BBQ sandwich with sweet potato fries(He said tried to eat the fries before they got cold because they were more disappointing as they cooled) and Fish and chips(she said both were very greasy — like the oil wasn’t hot enough of the food wasn’t drained before it was plated). It was a Long wait for a Smallish portion. I finished the ravioli far ahead of my companions and it was tasty; however the creamy sauce oxidized into a scummy skin on top while we waited for it to be brought to our table. An obvious case of food«dying in the pass». It is impossible for us to say where the problem was — the kitchen or the waitstaff, but it was also a long wait for the check and we tried to take the money to the hostess stand to pay because the waitress disappeared again. Don’t try to pay at hostess stand. Only your waitress processes your payment. We waited some more for her to be found so we could give her the cash — from which we didn’t even need change. Meh. Just, meh.

Were driving along the Carlisle pike… New to the area and swerved in because the place looked inviting! We were just shopping around so we went for drinks and appetizers. My parents got the flight of 8 beers for only $ 10! They were plenty surprised by the variety. I ventured for a hard cider. The asiago garlic fries and soft pretzels rolls were delicious and a compliment to our drinks. Service(Logan) was great! We are looking forward to returning because the rest of the menu sounded incredible. This place is popping. Good for families, college students, everyone with the seating variety(inside, outside, high/low)!
