This place has some of the best thai food. Its fresh, theres great portion sizes, the homemade crab ragoons are to die for, in fact everything is to die for. Its never been bad no matter what day of the week or what time u go.

Really good Thai food for a reasonable price. The place itself is pretty dumpy, but who cares? Get your food to go.

We have tried calling the last few weekends hoping to call in a to go order. First ring straight to voicemail doesn’t matter what time of operating hours. If they don’t want to have anybody call then they should note that in their voicemail or not have a consumer line. Disappointed because we have heard the food is amazing.

This restaurant is AMAZING! It can be a bit of a wait for the food since the restaurant is small but crowded, so expect to set aside some time when you go here. There is only one waitress and one cook. It is WELL worth the wait though, this is authentic Thai. Highly recommended.

I have only visited Maw Phin Thai once, myself. The food was really, really good(truly) and I do plan on going back. My only problem was the wait time to get our food, and the fact that a couple seated after we arrived was served first. There was nothing crazy about our order: an appetizer, two entrees, and two drinks. But we waited nearly an hour. That’s the only thing that gives me pause about going back, but the food really was delicious and I think about Maw Phin Thai often. My boyfriend has been there a couple more times than I have, and the wait was an issue for him on those visits as well. If they speed it up, I’ll spend a lot more money there, and give them more stars!

Based on location, the fact that there’s nothing around for miles in all directions, I am rating this place 4 stars based on quality of food. I enjoyed the entrees, however, service was lacking from our waitress. Took a long time to take our order. Then we clearly indicated we wanted to share the won ton soup, but she didn’t bring us individual bowls to eat from. Am I supposed to dive in like a hog and spoon it into my mouth from the middle of the table? I had to stand at the counter to get her to give me two bowls. She wouldn’t clear the table of the dirty dishes once the main corse was brought out. We had to juggle with what little space we had. I had to once again get up, stand at the counter, and ask for an extra plate. Did she not see that two people were eating? As for the food it was yummy and they did give us a free appetizer of won tons.

Absolutely the best Thai food in Spokane. The portions are generous and the food the best. Fried rice is a must, and this is the only place that I can’t NOT have fried rice. I cannot pass it up from Maw Phin. Great people and service, too. Don’t miss out on this place.

Love eating here very quiet and delicious food! They have choices other places don’t offer. They give you crab Rangoon as a little sample when you sit down. I love my thai food and this place makes it right!

My roommate works here and when I discovered the Pad Thai there I have her bring it hone to me at least twice a week! I even drive out 20 minutes some days because I crave it so bad! The owners open early to cut all fresh ingredients and are sweet people! I have a hard time eating Thai from anywhere else in Spokane! Also, the service is amazing!

Really great Thai food. I love the atmosphere here. Small, family owned feel with one waitress managing the entire place.(to give reference at how small it is). Food tastes authentic, good portions, fair prices. They give you a complimentary appetizer. Kind of in the middle of no where but worth the drive for a unique dinner experience!

Some of the best Thai food in the area. It is prepared by Thai chefs and they don’t Americanize it to much. I have lived in Thailand and was impressed by everything I have had so far, very authentic. We have done take out and ate in the restaurant. Service is always friendly and efficient. If you enjoy Thai food you should like this authentic restaurant. My recommendations so far: Crab Rangoons appetizer, any of the curries, spicy larb salad(only wish they had sticky rice to go with it) and the desserts, coconut sticky rice and mangoes is fantastic(seasonal dessert).

We have eaten lunch here 3 – 4 times and the food has always been very good. It was never very busy, so the service was very good also. This was the first time we came here for dinner. It was a full house, but we got seated pretty quickly. First the good; the food was again very good – once we got it, which leads us to the not so good. We were there for an hour and 25 minutes before we got our food. For a restaurant with only about 10 tables, that is unacceptable. I’m pretty sure the kitchen only does one order at a time, since the 2 appetizers we ordered came with the rest of the food. We hold the kitchen responsible for this, not the server, and she was obviously quite busy, but at no time during that 1 hour and 25 minutes did she come back to our table, nor offer any kind of apology on behalf of the kitchen when the food finally did get there. We will possibly go back again, but probably only for lunch.

Honestly, some of the best Thai food I’ve had in a while. The sauces they use, the veges the put with the meat, the portion sizes, everything is spot on. The desserts were exceptional as well. The drive might be a little longer for people who live in town, but it is defintiely worth the drive if you want good quality food. Highly recommend this place. Mouth is currently salivating at the thought of the black rice pudding with coconut ice cream. mmhmm.

LOVETHISPLACE!!! My husband spent plenty of time TDY in Thailand and agrees it is very comparable to what he ate while in country. My fave is the Pad See Iwe(sp?) And the Pad Thai. Hubby loves the Chicken Fried rice with quite a bit of spice. Family friendly, but very small. Popular with local residents and can fill up FAST! :-)

Ignore the casual exterior and step inside for cozy, pleasant ambience. Decent menu selections with commonly offered Thai dishes. FOOD *Peanut Chicken($ 8.95) *Pad See Ew Chicken($ 10.95) + Tofu(+$ 2) Great attentive service. We were here for an early dinner(5:00ish, pm) and were seated promptly. After ordering, we were served four complementary Crab Rangoon appetizers that were crispy, fried wonton-like bundles filled with a delicious cream cheese/crab filling. Our entrees were served in a timely manner but the overall quality fell short of our expectations. The Peanut Chicken sauce was both dry and bland in taste, nothing close to the spice level 3 ordered. The rice the chicken was served over was acceptable. My Pad See Ew noodles were fresh, with a good amount of fresh broccolli and chicken, although the portion was on the modest side. Additionally, I felt the additional cost for dry, overcooked, fried tofu was not a fair value. We were greatly disappointed with our meal tonight. Wait staff did check several times and our water glasses were kept filled. The interior was recently refreshed and looks charming.(See photos) A steady stream of patrons continued to arrive during the time we spent consuming our dinner. There are about ten total tables and a couple of seats at their counter. Their parking lot is unpaved.
