Yes, this little gem is tucked in the back of a subdivision around Mcqueeney lake. The building is a little addition onto a doublewide trailer. The owner Jay and her husband John have had several attempts at a regular location in Seguin over the past years to closed businesses. I arrived to this«tiny» café with only 2 tables and was greeted by Mrs Jay; the bigger 6-seater had 4 people there. I ordered the obligatory Pad Thai because of price mainly(a lot of her Thai dishes are priced in the 11 – 13 dollar range. My chicken Pad Thai was $ 8. There are no lunch specials. The other table of 4 all ordered pad thai, one man that traveled to Thailand and China over 20 times, also ordered Pad Thai. I am familiar with all Thai dishes, so I should have tried something else. Jay said that’s all everyone orders(90%). She seemed a little bored that they wont venture out. She wants to make some curries and hot soup pots. The Pad Thai came in about 25 minutes with one spring roll, which was delicious and flaky. I asked for extra fish sauce for dipping. The Pad Thai noodles were perfectly done with a little chew but soft. The flavors were on point and very balanced with savory, spicy, and sour flavors. I added plenty of extra crushed peanuts from the table condiments. The portion size was huge. You can get 12 halfsize spring rolls for $ 4.50(little morsels of goodness, others have described). Everyone around here seems to know about this place, even though THEYDON’T HAVEANYWEBSITE! Most people get theirs to go because of the lack of seating, but I sure enjoyed eating that meal in Jay’s little kitchen. This is the only Thai restaurant for 20 miles. Oh, and by the way, they don’t sell T-bones here. The weird name is because they specialize in Thai pepper steak stir frys. They will change the confusing name in the future.

Some of the best Thai food I have ever had. Try the Panang and spring rolls!!! Nice people, wonderful food. You’d be hard pressed to find more authentic thai food in the area.
