I will not do business with MBM again. I took my laptop in over a college break to have it looked at by a technician, because the power jack on the side was having trouble holding the power cord. I was told by the technician himself that he had nothing on his schedule for that day, and that he could take a look at it right away. My laptop sat there at MBM for /two weeks/, unfixed. I called to check up on my computer during this time, first at appropriate business hours, then on different days, then multiple times a day. The technician did not answer his phone for a week. When I finally talked to him, he gave me the excuse that he had had«networking issues» to solve, and that he would have to ship my computer to a town 45 minutes away to have it repaired, because he «didn’t have the parts». He then proceeded to tell me that it would cost me at least $ 120 to fix it. I was now at the end of my break from classes, and needed to have my computer back for school, so I had no option but to retrieve it from MBM, without it being repaired. At least they didn’t charge me the $ 25 diagnostic fee.
