I visited Twist for the first time last week. Noël did an amazing job with my hair. I wasn’t sure how to go with my style, she listened and then made a suggestion on how to move towards my final goal. Noël was awesome and the salon was very nice!

I normally would not post about my hair cut because I don’t even know how I prefer my hair. I figure I’m a dude and hair can be covered by a cap. I am glad that I went to twist and Callie Cutter cut my hair. I sat down and asked her to do what she wanted with it because I am not one for style. I don’t think I can recall a single time where I liked my haircut until now. She did a wonderful job and also was a delight to talk to. Rest assured I have transitioned into that Phase of adulthood where I want my hair cut by certain person. Hopefully she’ll be there in 6 months when I’m ready for new cut. Great stop pleasant lady and exceptional results.

Like most salons Twist specializes in women’s cuts. I went here regularly for close to 6 months before deciding to try something different. I received pretty solid cuts for the most part. The atmosphere is laid back and everyone is extremely friendly. The last cut, however, the stylist was unsure how to due a standard men’s undercut when I wanted to try something new. That was disappointing considering the popularity of this cut. Apart from that experience, however, I would still recommend Twist for men willing to spend $ 25.

Noël Pearson is my new hair angel! I’ve been looking for a new cut-​and-​color whiz for some time and I’ve found her – hallelujah! Noël is friendly, fun, professional and very talented. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted in terms of color and length and gave me great advice. I got a terrific color update and a great cut for a reasonable price. Thanks, Noël!

My entire family has been going to Twist for years and we can’t imagine going anywhere else! I found Emma in Portland over 11 years ago and she was so good, I followed her when she relocated to McMinnville. I drive down from Portland every month and haven’t regretted a single mile. Every cut and style is thoughtfully and carefully done to my liking. She’s colored and cut my daughter’s hair and we always get the best compliments. Thanks for always being professional, punctual, and highly skilled.

Sad day to have to post this review having been a customer of Twist for 2+ years. Emma is talented (especially with cuts), but with increasing time I grew tired of having to wait 20 – 30 mins past apt times. In addition Emma would double book hair appointments almost every visit. This would be fine if my hair turned out exactly (or similar) to what I asked for, but it hasn’t more than once. There aren’t assistants to support Emma so things feel rushed. This last visit my request for subtle highlights resulted in over processed white stripes. Plus Emma didn’t have «time» to blow out my hair and check the color. If it wasn’t for another stylist who shifted HER schedule around, I would have as well walked out with wet hair…
I called back 2 days later and left a message with the receptionist that I wanted to have my hair fixed. Didn’t get a call back from Emma. I actually had to call a 2^nd time. When I decided to tell Twist to cancel my future apts, I was not asked why or what they could do. They just said OK.
Twist– you have good talent but don’t forget this is a small town. Take care of your clients!
Time to move on!

My friend recommended Twist about a year ago and I’ve been going ever since. I use Callie and she is great. She listens to what I’m looking for, checks out the pictures I bring in, and then formulates a plan that we both agree to. I really appreciate the extra time she takes in making sure she understands the vision I have for my hair and that I’m not going to spend longer than 15 min fixing it in the morning. I just recently had my hair cut about 8 inches to a really cute angled bob, and I love it! Totally what I wanted and it takes less than 15 min to fix! I highly recommend Twist!

I have been going to Twist for quite some time now. I am the pickiest person when it comes to my hair. The main stylist I see is Candice who is Amazing! Super friendly all the time. They will also give me a call if they happen to be running late and I always feel acknowledged and welcome when I come into the salon. I have also seen the owner Emma and my friend goes to Nikita (who by the way does the best wedding hair I have ever seen, she has a talent for it). They also have to other ladies. Roxanna and Callie who are also amazing from what I have seen. They are reasonably priced for a salon (ie: 35.00 for a womens haircut and a geat style always comes with it!). Everyone is friendly, always have coffee, tea, or water to serve. I also enjoy the hair products they sale and the fact they don’t push it on me. I have been to plenty of salons that make me feel guilty if I don’t buy retail everytimeI travel from Beaverton to get my hair done. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else! You can’t go wrong here with who you choose!

I’m picky about my hair. This salon is the best. I have gone here for seven years now. Emma and Candice both are fabulous. They do my cut and color and are better than anywhere else I have tried. I’ve never had to wait… then again I am usually running five minutes late myself. LOL. They are always friendly and professional and both are extremely talented ladies. Just look at their hair… they both look great. If only I could come out looking as small as they do it would be perfect. Haha. But at least my hair always looks like a models when they are done with me!

I tried to be a regular here because the cuts were good, although the prices were a bit high. Gradually, they got more and more popular and the quality of the service declined steeply. I was made to wait 20 – 35 minutes each appointment and then given a 10 minute cut on more than one occasion. The last time I went, I waited 25 minutes without so much as a nod of acknowledgement by my stylist, who was cutting someone else’s hair 10 steps away. I walked out with a cut and haven’t looked back since. Seriously, other people can cut my hair and do it without the attitude.
