If I have to judge this place against other sushi places which I am, I’m giving this a one star. To me the sushi isn’t as fresh as it could be as its floating around on this conveyer system and its cold. Who wants cold foiled chicken? I will 100% not come back unless they they change up their way of doing things. If I want tempura shrimp it needs to be warm and not cold. The pieces were on a small plate with a clear plastic dish on top and they did not fit fully under it because of their length. Some of the sushi chefs sat down and text right ins front of you while you ate.

It was great Sushi restaurant. Sushi is good and reasonable price. Stuff are kind and nice.
You can go alone and enjoy yourself too.

Pretty good sushi for Oregon! We also came during happy hour so the food was super cheap! We all ate 6 or so plates, and it was very filling. The wait staff is so so, and the restaurant is clean nicely decorated.

I use to love this place to get my sushi fix even though it’s not great, it would do the job. If you have ever gone an hour or so before closing, they make it a priority to start closing & become rude to customers because it’s almost time to close. We sat there for an hour & not once were our waters filled, asked if we wanted anything, or checked on. We waited 15 min till we got our check that we just decided to walk up to the cash register. Meanwhile the employees are slamming dishes while cleaning up. This is a reoccurring experience. Awful customer service! Mediocre sushi. I wouldn’t give one star but the app doesn’t allow for that.

Love this place! Has a nice selection of sushi and I like that you can order something that’s not on the conveyor belt. I always eat a grape and orange plate just because it’s so fresh! My water glass is always refilled the wait staff is extremely friendly too.
Can’t go wrong with their Happy Hour either! This place is great to feed myself and kids and a amazing price!

I love this place so much, they have wonderful costumer service… I have to admit they don’t have all the amazing fancy sushi but you definitely eat more than you pay for! Cheap and good!!! You have a lot of options and you can order something that’s not out there and it’s the same price they get it out to you in no time! won’t ever stop coming here! Bye bye cold stone hello sushi kyo

Tasty! This is a low-​key sushi joint with a conveyor belt as well as standard menu ordering. There are mostly bar seats, but a few booths available. This place is perfect for a quick in and out snack while you’re out running around. They had a great selection on available on the day that I was there. Also, happy hour!

I enjoy this place often. Clean, great staff and good sushi. Everyone working there seems to be happy. My only complaint is that I noticed on more than one occasion that they start shutting things down about 2 hours to closing (sweeping, clearing tables of condiments, fewer choices on the belt and putting food away). It makes it a bit awkward as though you came in 5 minutes to close. Otherwise though the food is great!

Just as good as the one in Salem. Great service and pretty good sushi for a conveyor belt style place. If you don’t find what you want on the conveyor, just ask, and they will make it for you on the spot. I come here often, and they always will make whatever I want. One of the best sushi belt places I have been to!

In McMinnville? You’re kidding. Good, fresh sushi has arrived. We’d put it up against any (express) sushi in the Portland area. Well prepared, gorgeously presented, tastes superb. Really fresh. A must see.

My husband and I come here when we need a «sushi fix» only because it’s close, but it’s only tolerable sushi. Our absolute favorite sushi place is Crazy Sushi in Sherwood but even Sushi Hana in Tigard is better than this place. I’ve been here 5 – 6 times always giving it another chance like a sucker. But the prices don’t reflect the quality at all. They have such a strong desire to keep the conveyor full that if you come during non-​peak hours, be prepared for cold items that are meant to be warm and spicy mayo on dishes that is starting to turn clear on the edges from sitting out too long. The sweet chili sauce is less than desirable and it seems they put cream cheese in almost every roll. The «seared» salmon and shrimp taste disgustingly like propane. I usually can’t stop eating sushi when we go out and leave uncomfortably full. But when we come here I have no problem stopping in time. Which may be a good thing, I suppose… my new diet plan.

This place is such a great option in MAC. The sushi has been fresh during my 8 visits thus far. A good display with decent variety. You can’t beat the price either. Great way to begin to develop your sushi pallet without the fear of throwing away full rows if you don’t like it.

Wonderful place! We’ve been here many times including the first week it opened. The food is good and inexpensive. The staff are always very nice. We always get a booth and stuff ourselves. McMinnville really needed a place like this!

This is my favorite go to lunch or dinner spot in McMinnville. It has yummy sushi and non sushi items for my kids. I love the fruit cup and teriyaki chicken best for them and the lichi shrimp roll for me. The wait is never too long and the staff is very friendly. They are quick to make anything you request that isn’t on the line and there isn’t an extra charge.

A quick initial review but I have been here multiple times already! It is a clean and well laid out conveyor belt sushi bar. It is small but can probably seat 20 people along the bar and then there are 3 booths that can seat 6 each. The sushi is normally pretty fresh and very good for a sushi bar of this type. The prices are also excellent. I believe the 4 plate price levels are $ 1.35, 1.75, 2.25, and 2.45. So you can eat your fill of good sushi without killing your wallet.
You can also order off the menu and they don’t charge any extra fees. Party platters are available but I didn’t inquire about the prices on those. They are quick about getting to-​go orders ready and they package them well. The staff is also very helpful and friendly which always earns an extra star from me.
Don’t go in expecting the very best in sushi, but I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the quality for a small express sushi bar!
