Since I moved from Minnesota, it took me awhile to get use to the lay out, but the staff was always helpful in assisting me. The store is clean, and the products are displayed well. The store brand products are great. I especially like seeing the store manager and assistants working the checkouts.
In addition, the pharmacy has a great area to give shots. The pharmacy staff is always helpful and pleasant.

It was ok. This Safeway isn’t too busy. But have to say came here for starbucks.
But Safeway is Safeway. Similar layout to all other Safeway. Clean and organized

Carrie was the best checker ever. Great sense of humor and really patient with her customers. She had a few doozies when we were in there.

While going into the McMinnville store to get my Starbucks drink and some other small items, I over heard some checkers and courtesy clerks making rude comments about me and complaining about me staying so long with my drink. I was then approached by a very rude manager who was giving me the impression that she wanted me to leave without actually saying so. After being humiliated by the staff I then left without buying items I had planned on getting. After this I don’t see myself ever shopping at a safeway again.

Nice bright store with wide varierty of products.
(Except for the specific brand orange juice that I’ve been trying to track down, but it’s pretty elusive.)
Clean, organized, typical Safeway layout.
The cookies they make in-​store (2/​$ 1) are delicious!

A classic Safeway. It’s clean, organized, and the clerks are very friendly. However, the people at the customer service desk tend to be grumpy and unhelpful. There are often long lines and they do not call in enough checkers when the store is very busy. Luckily, the shelves are always fully stocked and the produce is managed so that your veggies are fresh and tasty. It’s still the best chain grocery store in McMinnville so as long as you can avoid the customer service grumps, you’ll be set.

one of the newer, somewhat darker on the inside locations. this one feels more cramped than the other newer style safeways. it has a starbucks inside — and they are always nice and friendly.
