I stopped here last month and have stopped in every week since. Reminds me of a farm I worked on as a kid. Besides nostalgia, I can pick up my fruits and vegetables for the week at a fraction of the cost of a grocery store. Haven’t been disappointed with anything yet. It males me feel good to know I am supporting a hard-working farming family too. Wonderful, magical, fresh place to stop if you get the chance!

I have to admit, I have not gone to Bernard’s too often. I was a regular at Farmer John’s, but lately that business is lacking. Recently, my family and I have gone to Bernard’s a few times and always the customer service is great! It’s an old barn and has been updated on the outside. Right now, they have cider that is pricey, but good hazelnuts, squash, apples and pumpkins!

This is a fun pit stop to stock up on veggies or in our case winter squash, for a very reasonable price. There was a ton of pumpkins around back so you can pick the right one!

«Let’s get corn!» I exclaimed to hubby. So we veered off the road on a whim because I’d made my request far too close to the turn off. So glad we did! Found a wonderful farm stand housed in an very old and very quaint barn. Their selection of fresh and local produce rivals most supermarkets. As does the price — 79 cents a pound for sweet onions or red potatoes. This selection was great, this being October and all — peppers, tons of apples, squash, berries, ornamental gourds, peaches and that sweet corn. You can also pick up local honey or jam and frozen berries. Acres of pumpkins to choose from for your and your kids’ jack-o-lanterns.
