We just finally went here. From the outside we thought it was a bar. Very nice atmosphere, split into two sections, one side is the dining room, the other a cozy lounge with a small bar. Nice menu selections. Highly recommend the«Smothered Chicken».

I had the seared tuna and my wife had the smothered chicken. I also had the clam chowder. We both loved our food. The only downside was we had to wait awhile we we entered before we were greeted to be seated. The food is excellent and we would go back.

Our server Michelle was fantastic and made our experience. We showed up near closing and you would have never known it. The food is great, a tad spendy. We ended up ordering 5 small plates — Bistro Fries with blue cheese, amazing — the chicken tacos, tasty, the steak quesadilla which was awesome, the crimini stuffed mushrooms which were ok and the po boy mini which I honestly didn’t care for. Overall was a great experience. Try the Serrano Rita with smoked salt(not sure what its called but close), that is a new favorite drink of mine.

We had great dinner at 411. It takes a long while but at least they warn you about it right on a more on the front door. We ordered an appetizer to ease the wait, that was the most beautiful hummus platter I’ve ever seen. Hot pickle soup was delicious, blackened salmon was great, very generous portions. Like it a lot.

Meatballs which tasted like oregano left stale in a shaker jar, spaghetti and a sauce which resembled used dish washing water in flavor and its tepid temperature, and bruschetta tasting like a cold, thoughtless piece of cheese and artichoke from a jar. The service was certainly polite and civil, but the entire family left profoundly disappointed. Don’t go! Don’t go! Don’t go and waste time and money on appallingly prepared foo.

I knew we were in trouble when the waitress tried to push the Kale Minestrone soup on us, and after saying we didn’t like kale she appeared with a sample anyway. She said we should try it because«it’s a power food, it comes from the sea». Ahh, might be thinking of kelp. It tasted like dirt. We had brought with us a $ 200 bottle of champagne to celebrate a special occasion. After 10 minutes of trying to find a makeshift ice bucket, she poured one class for each of us, took our order and disappeared. No bread produced, no water provided and she never came back to check on us or re-fill our glasses with champagne. When she did appear with our dinners she served me then reached across my entire plate giving me a good shot of the side of her boob and her underarm in my face and served my husband, even though she could walk around to his side of the table. The steak was cold, and the duck was so dry no amount of the accompanying sauce could make it any better. And still, she never refilled our glasses with champagne and never came back to ask how our dinner was. So we pushed aside our dinner and polished off the bottle of champagne. When she did come back she explained, «we are casual here, we just pour the first glass and leave the rest to you». Turns out she was the owner. So she doesn’t know how to properly serve food and has no idea about what is actually in it. So here’s my 411 — find somewhere else for dinner.

Be prepared for sticker shock. This is probably one of the priciest places I’ve ever been. The owners are AMAZING and really personable. I often find them serving folks during the week. The atmosphere is nice and charming. The restaurant is small, cozy, and intimate. Sangria is the bomb. My three-star rating is based on the food, service, and prices. Happy hour doesn’t seem to show much difference in drink prices. Evening and weekend service can tax one’s patience a bit. Food doesn’t seem to warrant the extremely high prices($ 28 for three thin slices of steak on a salad? Why?). The seating is very uncomfortable — and stay away from the bench seating. Go for the candied bacon. Your wallet will cry, but it’s worth the price.

Everything they do here is on point. The owners do a lot of the serving and bartending themselves — always refreshing to see hands-on ownership. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their work, and top of that they’re just real nice folks. Best craft margarita in town!

This place was great. Recommend the candied bacon, chowder and salmon. Salmon was perfect. Not too rare and not dry. Service was good and the owners are in house and making the place run well.

I guess I should start by saying we went in for their Happy Hour. Which for the exception of a few drink specials does not exist. They say their«small paltes» are their happy hour. But their is not a price difference between happy hour and any other time of day… FYI. That being said we did a couple of the small plates and a quick cocktail. The steamers were very clean and the broth was delicious. But their bread which is key to steamers was served burnt. Bread is cheap. I would have re done the bread instead of serving it… And then we did the shrimp tacos. Nice tortillas and they had a bite which was nice! Small spot and not a big crowd inside but we were early I guess. The owners are serving, hostess, bartenders etc and very helpful and sweet. Would I go back? sure

I still love this place! My «Go to» place in McMinnville. Today was multiple appetizer day: Zippy’s Hog Wings-the perfect combination of «heat and sweet» on pork short ribs; stuffed mushrooms-Gorgonzola!(’nuff said); pork and beef sliders-no extra seasonings needed. Great beer on tap(Crux IPA for one). They suffuse their own liquors and make some great cocktails. Friday and Saturday get pretty busy but it’s worth the drive! This would fit in perfect in «The Pearl» without the parking problems. Make the drive and come on down.

This is why you eat out and where you should do it. Excellent food! What a great place. Happy Hour Oysters were a great surprise. Fresh fruit cocktails, Hog Wings, Pork Belly Sliders, Banger Mac, Tacos, and Bone Marrow, all excellent. Kids big burger awesome too. Great food and service!

This place was absolutely amazing. I just moved to McMinnville not even a year ago and found this place when my dad came to visit and nobody would serve us dinner(it was like 9pm). A gentleman there was super welcoming, gave us the best service I’ve had since I’ve been in Oregon and just made the whole experience a great time. And the food was absolutely amazing. I had the clam chowder and my guests had the ahi tuna and steamed clams. We all shared and it was wonderful. For dessert, the bread pudding is by far the best I’ve ever had. You’ve gotta check this place out !!

The owners of this fine establishment are awesome! They are doing it right! The food is creative and always phenomenal! The drinks and specialty cocktails are always on point, and fairly priced. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. They make phở that only comes around once a month… and let me tell you, it’s definitely worth adding that weekend to your calendar. The locals see this place as a favorite spot, so if there is any question of the reputation, just ask anyone on the street. I will always recommend 411 to anyone that asks for a good place to eat and drink in McMinnville.

Bit busy on visit so slo to get going. Was sat and had to wait awhile for first contact. A server not ours did say«your server will be here in a few minutes». Vrs«your server will be here shortly can I get you something to drink?» However 4 stars due to the food being real good. We will be back.

My favorite place to grab a meal in McMinnville. I REALLY appreciate their support and understanding for folks like me on a Paleo style diet, with a handful of food allergies, as I can often feel like a restaurants worst nightmare when I try to tweak menu items so I can enjoy them without issue, sorry! But that is never a problem here, and they have a killer menu to choose from. My favorite dish at the moment is the sesame coated seared Ahi Tuna with greens & homemade dressing. LOVE it. Did I mention how much I LOVE it? The chef is also super generous with the fish, you won’t find awesome slabs of perfectly seared Ahi like this anywhere else in wine country, I promise. Thank you for continually rocking my world 411! I am also really impressed by their rotating selection of hard ciders and meads for me to try, along with crafted beers for my hubby to enjoy.
