Sunglass Hut

The manager at this location, Shanel is extremely rude and unwilling to help. Shame!
What really shocks me is that, they have the audacity to speak to a customer in such condescending tone?
Customer service is very important.

Allow me to preface this review by saying I’m no expert at sunglasses. I walked into this store knowing that I needed a new pair since I’d scratched my old ones, but that was the extent of my knowledge. Enter Frederick. This guy is some sort of ‘sunglass whisperer’. He asked if I was looking for a sporty pair of glasses or a designer pair. ‘Yes’ I responded. (I’m telling you: I had no idea what I needed!) He laughed at my ignorance… okay wait: naïveté, then he got to work.
Frederick took one look at my face, then chose a pair of Maui Jim’s and said, ‘Try these’. GORGEOUS! They were the perfect fit, perfect shape, perfect color, perfect style, you get the point: perfect! I’d never worn a pair of sunglasses that was so lightweight. Frederick explained that I was wearing polarized glasses, and he taught me what that meant. I couldn’t stop sneaking glances back at the mirror. I loved this pair! But thinking that I couldn’t possibly just buy the very first pair of glasses I tried on, I looked around and (with Frederick’s assistance) tried on several more pair. Too square, too big, too dark, too blingy, ugh! I finally decided that it was obvious: Frederick knows what he’s doing. I went with the first pair that he recommended.
You don’t run into gifted salesmen every day though, so I took advantage of this opportunity to ask Frederick for a recommendation on everyday shades that I could wear out on the town or to work. ‘Try these’ he said nonchalantly, holding up a pair of Dolce and Gabbanas. I slipped them on, and much to my amazement, he’d done it again.
If you’re in the market for sunglasses, but can never seem to get exactly what you’re looking for… you should be looking for Frederick!!! Take note that there are two different Sunglass Huts in Tysons. He’s only at this particular retail outlet. (Also note, I bought my glasses a few months back. I hope he’s still there!)

Good collection of sunglasses at a reasonable price.
They do keep updating their supply to keep up with the latest stuff!
Staff is good too.

Nice assortment of shades! Pleasant customer service! I got some Jupiter Oakleys and I am absolutely convinced that makes me look super cool. Besides, they came with a one year warranty.
The store is carrying new styles along with the classics, many of which are retro and come in bright aqua, red, yellow, pink and purple. It was a pleasant shopping experience, but know that they do not offer prescription lenses. The store is located beside Saks in the middle of the Galleria mall.
