My favorite place to recharge after a long day of shopping. You get a lot of bang for your buck. It looks like small portions, then you sit down to eat and it is like it has grown.

My friends and I were so excited for«Cajun» food on our school trip, not even the rice was good lets put it at that. The chicken was kind of soggy and gross. And the lemonade tasted like lemon seasoning used for Asian food, not good.

After a long day at work and several hours of shopping at the mall, I was starving and ended up here since $ 7 for a main plus 2 sides sounded like a great deal. I opted for thick lo mein noodles plus spicy Cajun chicken and a steamed tofu-veggie mix. It did not blow me away, but the chicken had a nice kick to it and since they had also poured some of its spicy broth over the noodles, I had no complaints about the flavour. The tofu was nothing to write home about, but the veggies still had some bite to it, so the broccoli was quite enjoyable. The portion size was generous — I was not able to finish all of it. Would I make specific plans to come here again? No, but it if I am ever in that corner of the mall again while hungry and looking for a cheap meal, then you might be able to find me here a second time.

This place has always been my favorite & the food is always good, but there is a Spanish lady with dark brown/blonde hair who works there that insists in speaking to me in Spanish. I do speak Spanish, but when I am at an ASIAN restaurant-I order in English. Meanwhile, her Spanish speaking co-workers spoke to me in English. Broken English, but they were smiling & being friendly. Rolling your eyes & giving me a disgusting attitude isn’t intimidating lady, it just makes you look like a fool. So here’s some Spanish for you– Aprenda ser educada y no actuar como una niña estupida.

Outstanding food. The owner told me if I didn’t like the food, he would give me a full refund. Instead I’m telling others how good it was.

My food was absolutely horrible I will never eat there again. On another the rice wasn’t done. No chicken it was a crispy fried flower!

You need to fire that blonde Spanish lady that takes your order, every single time I go there she has the biggest attitude, I don’t know if it’s CUZ of me or if it’s CUZ she wants to go home! She makes me nervous to the point where I don’t know what to order. The chicken was hard as hell. The noodles tasted disgusting rice was sticky, I feel like I wasted money, I’m never going back there again. It’s been my fave place to eat at tysons for like seven years!!! Idk maybe the owners changed because it use to be Asians now it’s Hispanics with attitude

$ 5 bucks for the small(one chicken, 1 side). Great deal, friendly service. Got the blackned chicken and rice noodles. Couldn’t finish it. Bright spot for me with all the other dreadful Tysons food options.

I know this is not the healthiest of foods but sometimes I crave greasy chinese food. I can’t believe nobody’s mentioned the vegetable lomein since it is like crack to me– not to salty and the noodles are toothy not mushy! I come here for the lomein. Bourbon chicken is good to– has a nice smokiness to it though it is a bit to sweet. The honey orange chicken is mostly fry and not so much chicken. Try the lomein!

I love bourbon chicken! Whenever I am in the mood for super greasy food I always hit up Kelly’s Cajun. They’re pretty cheap and give huge amounts of food. They always pile on the sides and they don’t skimp on the chicken either. I really love the sauce that they marinate the chicken in and usually ask for them to cover my rice with it as well. It can be a little too sweet at times, but that’s why you need to eat it with the hot sauce. It’s so good! The sides are just average, I usually get the thin noodles and fried rice. You can get jambalaya rice for $ 1 extra charge, which is pretty good. If you can’t eat spicy food I wouldn’t get it as it is pretty hot. The staff is always smiling and very helpful. There’s usually an employee standing out in front handing out samples so you can try it before you buy.

I suppose this place must have changed management since 2008 cause all the bad reviews aren’t what my experience has been. I work across the street and eat here at least twice a week for lunch. For $ 5.50 you can get one protein and one side, or for $ 7.50 you can get two proteins and one side. The food is always fresh around lunchtime, and I haven’t had a bad meal yet. Bourbon chicken is a little on the sweet side, but still good. I like the Cajun chicken best, but GETITWHENIT’S FRESH. Peppered chicken is good too. And they have the best steamed veggies in the mall– never overcooked!

We stopped by here on a Friday night and ordered the fried rice, pepper chicken, and Cajun chicken. It was so not worth it and we wished we hadn’t gone out on a limb and tried this place instead of going to the more regular places like Panda Express or Five Guys. The fried rice was greasy and curried with different spices trying to make it more ‘cajun’ I guess but it tasted like a mess of greasy rice and paprika. The Cajun chicken was basically flavorless, bare chunks of chicken. No sauce, just plain chunks of chicken with mild or less then mild flavoring and no heat. And it was like room temperature or luke warm which made it worse. The pepper chicken was better. It was a sticky thinly sauced mess of small chicken pieces with flavor, but not fresh and not succulent goodness you’d remember or go back for. Some pieces looked questionably withered and not meant for eating. The whole meal just tasted so unhealthy, overdone and greasy. It was a lot of food but just not good food. Never ever again. Should’ve checked the reviews on Unilocal

Okay I only stopped here because the line for Panera was out the door. The Bourbon Chicken is okay but I am sure it’s loaded with MSG. The Bourbon Chicken is basically all kinds of grizzled chicken meat chopped up in a sweet sauce. The rice and the eggroll were okay but all together with a drink it was almost 9 bucks which is way too pricey for what you are eating. They do however give you pretty large portions. Oh well what more should you expect from a carry out mall place.

Keep in mind that this review is to judge what this place is. A mall stop and go type restaurant. I always go for the«Bourbon Chicken.» Now I never understood why«Bourbon Chicken» or «etofee chicken» or other named incarnations of this dish are from Louisiana or why only Asian people sell it at malls, but I don’t care. It’s good. It’s full of MSG, and it’s good. I always get a side of corn here. The $ 6 dinner comforts me…

Having spent many days at Tysons shopping for Christmas presents, it’s time to update on the places I had the fortune(or misfortune) of trying for lunch! I’ve eaten here a few times. Some people swear by the bourbon chicken. I think it looks like something my cat threw up, or at least gnawed on. Presentation at this place is lacking. Their food is not pretty. Regardless, the bourbon chicken tastes okay– but I don’t think that’s enough to redeem it, everything else here is bland.

Really the only reason to come here is the Boubon Chicken. Aside from that, the food is rather. blah.

Not sure why I’ve been to this location more than oh 5 times for lunch. Could be that my ex co-workers lacked the taste buds of great Unilocalers… possible, or that I was unwilling to put up a fight on where to go somedays. The place itself isn’t horrible but it’s nothing to drive to Tysons Corner for during the lunch hour rush. Trust me! I would always get the fried rice and lo mein and you had to choose a meat side so I would get the peppered chicken. Everyone always enjoyed the Bourbon chicken. Which to me just looked like haggered chicken gizzards drenched in a too sweet sauce. Service here was either really slow or really fast. The quality of food iteself wasn’t worth the price tag either. A meal like I just described would run you over $ 9 and that’s without a beverage! So save your money and grab two value meals from McDonalds if you want a more satisfying and filling meal.
