Can’t say enough about how much my game has improved over the last 2 years. I’ve been getting instructions from Gary at the Tyson’s location. In that time my average score has improved 10+ strokes per round. Also if you’re considering a club fitting this is a great place to do it.

I wanted to get a club fitting. I called up a few places and read up on a few places. When I called Golftec, the representative on the line was very convincing that their club fitter was very good. He even offered a free swing evaluation. Phhh… I left the club fitting less confident than I was before in my lie angle and iron/​shaft combination. The guy took 3 measurements of my swing with the friction tape. Told me I was 1 degree upright. I’ve never been measured that way and I told him that hoping he’d take another measurement with new tape to make sure it wasn’t just a mis-​swing that caused it. After hitting several balls, he showed me my «stats» and some automated mizuno system gave him 3 shaft choices, after which the fitter told me, «even before you hit these three, I know which one it’s going to be» After going through them all, we decided on the shaft that gave me the best grade, which equals the best combination of high distance and low dispersion. Ball flight didn’t seem to be taken into consideration. So, he wrote down the recommendation on the sheet. Fine, it would have been fine, but then I asked him, can I try a lighter shaft? He puts a lighter shaft on the club head and low and behold, not only did it give me significantly more distance, the dispersion rate was significantly lower as well. By the end, he didn’t give me any sort of swing evaluation, was generally unfriendly, and only seemed to smile when he told me how much the clubs would be if I ordered it from them. Overall, the facilities at their location in McLean is unkept, club fitter was unfriendly, club fitting system one-​sided, and promises weren’t kept.
I really feel like my $ 129 was not only wasted, but I feel a little taken advantage of.
I had full intentions of going back to them for actual lessons if they did half of what they claimed to be good at doing…

Made an appointment but they forget to enter it in their system and they were very rude about it on the phone. I took about 10 swings for the entire evaluation and rest of the time was spent trying to sell me super overpriced packages. It reminded me of someone trying to sell me timeshare.
I rather spend little more money to join a golf club and take lessons or buy similar software and set up my garage and take some lessons.
Technology is pretty nice but not for the package prices they are asking. Also they lessons on phone manors.
