Unfortunately this place is closed and is an empty retail spot at the moment. I had a good experience with purchasing a necklace. I’m not giving it all stars because I felt that the security guy made it a little uncomfortable; he was within a feet away at every moment until I paid with my credit card.

I dropped in here by chance after eating at Lebanese Taverna one day. The employees are super nice and thoughtful. They are knowledgeable about diamonds. I was curious about their sourcing, and was asking about conflict diamonds, and was surprised to hear how informed they were. Most places are not that informed. I guess if you’re the top in your field, you better. They WILL try to sell you a $ 17,500 ring though. HAHA.

I decided to get something sparkly for my girl for Xmas and having bought a pair of earrings at their Houston store (many years ago), I decided to give this location a try.
I judge a jewelery store based on how they treat me when I’m dressed in casual clothes. John and Maggie treated me like I was in a three piece suit. Friendly, welcoming, and willing to show me anything from their display cases without a surly response or a roll of the eyes. I even visited their store several times before buying a single thing. Every time they treated me exactly the same.
When I did finally purchase something it didn’t feel like a retail transaction. Instead it felt like they were building a relationship with me. More client, less customer. The experience was so good that when I purchase another piece from De Beers (their designs are fantastic) I’ll make sure to order from John and Maggie.

My girlfriend and I came here looking around at some jewelery just to see what De Beers had to offer. Magdalena was so nice to help answer all of our questions and going into detail about everything you would need to know about diamonds. As a shopper, I was quite happy with her expertise and professionalism. She is just a pleasant person to speak to. We even mentioned our upcoming trip to Paris with her and she even gave us some suggestions on places to go and things to see. If you’re ever in the store and are looking for a pleasant sales experience, I recommend Magdalena. She will help you answer all your questions and make sure your purchasing experience is a great one.

During the past four years, I have purchase several items from both the New York City and the Tysons Corner De Beers store. The experience has been exceptional. The sales staff in both locations are very knowledgeable (my local sales person grew up in a family jewelry business). When my wife damaged one of her rings, causing it to be out-​of-​round, it was promptly returned to NYC for repair at no charge. They are a first class operation that stands behind their product.
