Vasquez Tae Kwon Do Academy

We scheduled our sons 7^th birthday party here and it was awesome! Julian and his family were spot on in making this one of the best parties ever. If they pay half as much attention to their students then I’m betting this would be a fantastic place for taekwondo. Highly recommend booking here. You can bring your own food, drinks, cake etc. you won’t be disappointed.

I have several Tae Kwon Do places near me so it was difficult to choose. After speaking with several friends, the name Vasquez Tae Kwon Do Academy kept coming up so we gave them a try. We’ve only gone for two months, but I expected to only go two times because I thought my son would protest profusely as he had done with all other sports put before him. Not only does he not protest, but he’s on his second month and he’s earned his yellow belt (not just handed out) and looks forward to the classes. I like that the Academy is run by a family who reinforces respect, good grades, good character, and achieving your goals. They also emphasize leadership and regularly put the higher color belts in leadership positions. Make may also offer sword training, a very comprehensive martial arts curriculum, and master Julian Vasquez has had several team members of his team win several Olympic medals and honors. Lastly, the masters are personable and classes are reasonably priced. I just wish they would lower the temperature a bit more during summer classes. It can get a little hot and humid sometimes but not smelly.
