This place is so fun. We tried them out at Oktoberfest and made a mental note to check out the brewery. My husband loves craft beers so we have a new love for breweries The building was funky and I loved the big wooden bar. I think their tall tables with heaters next to them were cool. There is a lot of cool stuff to look at. The beer was really good! I had the grapefruit which was a slight grapefruit taste at the start and then eases off at the end. I also tried the double chile. Now that is awesome!!! It smells like it’s going to burn your mouth off but it doesn’t. It not spicy. It’s one you really must try. This spot is dog friendly which I love. Only thing I will add, it was a cold night. This entire space is metal. That = cold!!! Please Mr Tupp, with all your volunteer bartenders(not kidding and they’re great people) please use that extra cash to buy more Heaters for us ladies. You will get more female customers in the winter. 3 wasn’t cuttin it. Cool spot. Will def be back in the summer. They open up all the garage style doors and have massive fans that cover the ceiling I was told. Check it out peeps.

We love Tupps! We have only been twice, but both times were so enjoyable. I love the atmosphere, staff, and of course their beer. Especially the one mixed with lemonade — nice and refreshing! Cost is right too!

Tupp’s is a rustic industrial brewery with a respectable range of beers. It is a nice place to hang out and listen to live music, or play jenga or corn hole if you’re into that. It has a wide range of industrial art, including the interior furniture(tables and chairs/benches) and exterior door entries(antique car trunk lids). My personal fave brew is the Cotton Mill Gold made with a multiple grains including rye, wheat, oats and five different hops. I’m typically an IPA drinker, but at Tupp’s, this beer is superior to the IPA due to its deep complexity and crisp finish. They also had a BBQ guy selling his stuff at the main entry, which was expensive and smelled divine. McKinney is a long way from my home ‘hood around lower Greenville, and next time I’m up there, I will visit Tupp’s once more.

I think I am going to make this a regular spot. It is a local brewery that makes you feel at home. Dogs are welcome, atmosphere is great, and that Northbound 75 beer is delicious! I can’t wait to see what other beers they will come out with.

Tupps is amazing. What the owners have done with the building is wonderful. The atmosphere, the space, and the beer all make this brewery worth a stop for the beer snob and novice alike. Come by for a full tour on Saturday, or enjoy a mellow setting a Wednesday evening. Either way, you’re not going to regret it.

Really like this place but their tables need to be sanded on the side. I just ruined my favorite shirt because I leaned up against it :(

Excellent beers, great people visit the place regularly, volunteer workers are friendly and knowledgeable. This place has a nice peaceful vibe. They have giant jenga, corn hole games and cool hanging washer type games. Plenty of seating, indoor and outdoor stages for live music and food trucks visit on weekends. I really dig this place. Dogs are welcome too!!! They don’t serve food but you can bring your own or have pizza/subs delivered. The new Northbound 75 is an ale brewed with fire roasted peepers and spices. Highly recommended!!!

Wife and I happened on this little brewery on a hot August afternoon. We really had a good time. There are plenty of shaded tables and all the beers we tried were great. Live band and a lively crowd. I especially liked the kiddie pools for cooling off your feet. Will definitely try to go back in cooler weather and hope to try some new brews

I found this place when they started following me on Instagram. Then I started following them on Instagram. And then I saw Bingo night on Tuesday nights and I knew I had to go. Went to check it out… turns out Bingo night hasn’t exactly taken off yet but since I was the only one who showed up to play… I won! They have excellent beers and a wheat option! They have large Jengas, food trucks on the weekends and some live music! Great atmosphere and super friendly staff so I am positive we’ll be back!

Keith, the proprietor, is such a great guy! He’s very personable, outgoing and really cares about his people. He’s the kind of guy you want to own a business because he is always happy to see you and welcoming! Chris, his son and right hand man, share the same characteristics. These two guys are make Tupps Brewery a rad place to hang out and belong to. The beer is yummy. The atmosphere is fun. Live music. Unique games to play. And there is always good company to have. Not to mention the extra mile these guys went into upcycling most of their décor. Bottom line: Tupps is the place to be!

First time coming here and the price was pretty good. $ 15.00 for glass and 3 drinks. Walking in the atmosphere was really cool. They had an unique décor that drew me in. They used an old lawnmower and turned it into a seat among other cool things. The beer itself was good. They only had 4 options; ipa, iPad, wheat and stout. The wheat was by far my favorite. I’m not a huge ipa fan but one was better than the other(not as hoppy). I was not a fan of the stout beer. To thick and strong. We of course had to sample the BBQ and it was amazing! The service for the BBQ and the beer was excellent. The restrooms were really cool looking. Overall it was a fun experience. I can’t wait til they get bigger and start brewing more varieties of beer.

I think it’s important to support our local breweries, so we were definitely in when friends asked us if we wanted to visit the new Tupps Brewery in McKinney with them. The venue is super cool — a rehabbed historic building that’s part of the Cotton Mill complex. Our friend, a local history buff, told us that we were actually standing at the site of one of the largest«company towns» in Texas. The homes that covered the large grassy field near the site were taken out years ago by a tornado. Who knew? Anyway — Tupps. We’re big fans of the original brewery in McKinney, Franconia, and are used to the $ 5 entry fee there and optional glass purchase. At Tupps, entry is $ 15 which was a bit of a surprise. For that you get a glass and three beers(all tracked on a super-smart wristband system). You can pay cash or credit. I think they need to offer some other options for people who’d like to return but want to bring their own glass and/or drink from a plastic cup. After all, if I go back I’m going to end up with additional glasses and I’m not planning to have a collection of one brewery’s glasses in my cabinet. The venue is huge and definitely designed for hanging out. They have games to play(cornhole, anyone?), tons of tables to sit and chat, a live band and — I’m sure though we didn’t spot any on the rainy day that we went — food options. But the beer: This is the aspect that was just a-ok for me. I liked their black ale. It truly was their best product. It’s strong and slightly sweet(chocolate undertones). The IPA is very hoppy and bright-tasting with a good head. It, curiously, was the only beer with a head of any sort. The other beers were strangely flat — end of keg? I don’t know. I tasted my husband’s wheat beer(although the entry fee covered 3 pints, that was really too much beer for me, so I stopped at 2) and found it to be somewhat flat tasting as well. I prefer Franconia’s wheat — nice and clear with a good flavor on the palate after drinking. So for me, if I hit up Tupps again it would be to enjoy a great venue for hanging out and spending time with friends, as well as enjoying the black ale. Tupps would be a fantastic venue to buy out for a private event(given the weather cooperates, because I saw no sign of insulation in the building). It’s that cool.
