Sonic Drive-In

I used to visit this location more frequently but I’ve essentially stopped going over the past year. I think Sonic’s price point is wrong for what they’re offering (flavorless, heavily breaded/​over fried food that seems haphazardly thrown together and into a bag)…don’t forget to add the tip. Unfortunately, there’ve been times the order wrong or something forgotten. Service is also hit or miss. I’d probably give this place 1 star, but the drink options warrant another star. More often that not, I pass.

I just got home and I feel so nauseous. I felt awesome all day until I ate that burger. I won’t use the word food poisoning bc there’s no proof, but definitely not good. My daughter who usually eats a whole burger wouldn’t eat more than half of it tonight. Now at home, she has thrown up a few times. Def not coming to this sonic for a really long time. Yuck!

Today was ok. I ordered two number ones and a small orange slush. The food came out quickly. The fries and drink were missing. They said I didn’t order a combo on one meal, which I did. So, car hop goes back in for 5 minutes and brings back out coke and fries. Then she says that’ll be another dollar. Really? But all my food came out at different times. By that time my burger was cold. I ate it anyways and it was good. I’m starving, so most likely any food would be good.
Besides charging me more money after forgetting ²⁄₃ of my order, the main thing I noticed is the size of the hamburger. Has anyone else noticed that the size of the burgers are significantly smaller lately? Price didn’t go down but the size decresed.

This is one of the few fast food places I like. I went there today for lunch and got me a #1 with cheese and tots. I like the fact that I can pay with my credit card at my car. Then the lovely lady comes out rolling in her skates with my food. To top it off, she gives me a couple mints. Then I give her a tip. I drive off happy.

Mediocre food that is way over priced and mediocre service. Not really sure what the obsession is.

This is my least visited but favorite sonic in McKinney. My order is always correct, the servers both inside and out are always polite, and this is the location where the «Head for the Cure» fundraiser for brain cancer research started! Rest in Peace Stevie!

Decided to get a milkshake with 4 other people. We ordered 5 total milkshakes and when they were delivered we asked what milkshake was which and his response was «I didn’t make them»? Oh we’ll not a huge deal but take a little pride in your job even if you don’t like it. Wish we had spoons too. But all in all yummy milkshakes and ½ price after 8pm!!!
