Ken was so amazing to work with, the pictures I posted are just a few of the many items he custom made in our house, my husband who is extremely particular was also beyond pleased with the process and how amazingly made all of our furniture is, I would recommend Ken to everyone and know he wouldn’t let anyone down, so glad I found him in Unilocal,thanks guys!!!

All I can say is WOW! My husband and I were looking for a unique, high quality table. We worked with Ken and Rachelle and ordered a box car wood table (wood from retired railway boxcars) with a metal base. The table arrived yesterday and we were completely blown away. It exceeded our expectations. It is so unique and has so much character! Exactly what we were looking for in our home. KS Woodcraft makes quality furniture that will last for years and years. It was a pleasure to work with them! Highly recommended!

Ken has created three custom tables for us. His products are attractive, high quality and very fairly priced. He is also quite versatile in the styles he can create.

I was looking for a TV stand to match the nice trunk we’d purchased from West Elm. After looking online quite a bit, all I could find that might work was MDF/​Particle board pieces (yuck, that stuff off gasses, no thanks), or spend $ 1200+ for a solid wood stand that sort of matched that we weren’t crazy about. I found Ken on craigslist and was impressed with the images he sent me and those on his website. I also really liked that we was able to look at a photo of the coffee table, offer a few wood types at different price points that would match well, as well as a black metal base like the coffee table. His communication was A+ and I had no doubt he could make the ideal piece for us. He followed the specs exactly, and it just arrived yesterday. It looks great!!! So happy with our purchase and highly recommend this craftsman. By the way, we are in Austin so we had it shipped from outside of Dallas with no issues and not too $$.

We bought an expandable walnut trestle table from Ken. I looked for a dining table at Restoration Hardware, Ethan Allen, Pottery Barn and many other furniture stores. I thought the tables they offered were of inferior wood and quality for high prices. Guess they have to pay for those showrooms somehow.
Ken has a genuine passion for wood and furniture making. We also found him to be very honest and responsive. All of these traits were very important as we live hundreds of miles from Ken and we did not see his work first hand until our table arrived at our home.
We ordered a solid walnut trestle table. Ken chose gorgeous pieces of wood and then tied them together in a way that balances out color variations and showcases the wood’s inherent beauty. True artistry. There are pictures of our table on his website but they do not accurately capture the table’s true beauty.
Finally, the table is heavy — a quality piece that we will hand down to our kids. Best of all, it was reasonably priced.
We are very happy with our purchase and I would definitely recommend talking to Ken about your wood furniture needs.
