Wow, I sure wouldn’t want to piss off reviewer Lorena M… Wow Wow Wow… I did my homework as well like Jana did and I too chose Hancock Fencing. Dutch the owner handled all my questions, phone calls and emails in a very timely manner. I paid a tad over 4 g’s for the best built fence in my area of McKinney. Its board on board grade 1 cedar from the best family owned company left that Dutch buys his wood from. He explains everything from why you should use aluminum nails to why you should never attach a gates hinges directly to the cedar. His workmanship is flawless and precise. His employees have been with him for years.
I have nothing but accolades for Hancock Fencing. Are they the cheapest? Hell no they are not and that’s a very good thing. Are they the best quality? You bet they are. Can you go wrong choosing them? No way!

We just recently used Hancock due to a recommendation from a friend. Very disappointing. They are severely overpriced considering the customer service they provide. We only proceeded expecting great service for our money. Wrong. Let me start by saying they stood us up two different times to come look at our property. My husband literally only heard from them by email. The only time he heard an actual voice was when it was payment time. The last time they stood him up they told him they came out at a later time in the day instead of the agreed time to walk our property by themselves to put together our quote. This is wrong on all levels because this is a huge investment and the consumer needs to see what they are pricing and how. They «supposedly» walked our property but we have no proof. The quote had the gate on the wrong side. Wrong side? If they were truly at our house then they would’ve known where our gate was. Customer service is terrible with this company for the overpriced fence they offer. Plus they never touched base with us to inquire afterwards if we were pleased with the fence!
Onto good things. The men that came out to do it were friendly and cleaned up the yard nicely. The swinging gate is amazing because it is steel lined and swings and clicks closed like a champ. We love the gate. The fence itself is solid and sound. This credit I give to the men who did the work. The quality of wood is great.
Overall the fence is good, overly priced… we don’t mind paying higher price for good quality but this was too much. The customer service stinks. I gave 3 stars because the gate is awesome.

I researched fence companies for over a year, driving my neighborhood, getting multiple bids and talking to different homeowners. Clear choice was Hancock. From start to finish, totally professional, job completed in a few days, not weeks. Clean up, no damage to vegetation & expert craftsmanship. Last, pricing was also great, can’t recommend highly enough!
