Best mortgage process as I have ever had. Crystal Tatum with your Rockwall, Texas office is undoubtedly the best loan officer we have ever worked with. Timely, professional, honest and so very helpful.

I worked with Guild for my loan and home about a year ago. I have to say that even though we did get financed, it was far from a smooth process. We were given piecemeal information throughout the process, this may be the case with all mortgage brokers though, since I’ve heard similar horror stories from friends who have used other companies. We were initially told we could do as little as $ 1500 down, but then when I received a gift, everything magically changed and our fees and payments seemed to match almost exactly what we were gifted. The biggest surprise came at closing when we finally got to the title company and had to wait on Guild to send paperwork… we were told we were putting $ 5k down on the house, the actual amount listed on the paperwork said $ 1500. Where did the other $ 3500 go? Avoid them unless you have no other options like we did.
