Gatti’s Pizza

Awesome family oriented place to eat and enjoy some really great food… good on price ad their mini theater is awesome!!! Im from Grand Prairie but will definitely stop by when we are in the neighborhood

Came in with great expectations. Had loved Gatti’s years ago. Not anymore! Food was not good! Oversalted, yucky crust, barely any toppings! About like similiar buffets, if not worse. Salad bar was not good, lettuce was way too old and mushy. Believe it or not the best part was mac n cheese. Service was ok, no complaints there. However, it was a fail for our family. Even for our two teenage boys who love to eat!

Our trip was as you would expect for inexpensive pizza buffet. The food was decent. The salad bar was pretty good. All of the employees were very nice and the restaurant was clean.
We sat in the «TV room» which was a little crowded space wise, but they had nick playing so the kids enjoyed it.
They also had coin operated claw machines which the kids enjoyed. We will be back for an inexpensive family night.

Not my favorite. I read a review that compared this to CiCi’s… I would rather have went to CiCi’s. In the area to do some car shopping and thought we’d try a new place.
PROS: The manager seemed nice, friendly and helpful. The place seemed clean’ish… Silverware was a little iffy. Salad bar choices were ok… There were spaghetti noodles and then another noodle. Both were cooked well. There were 2 marinara to choose from; 1 meat sauce and 1 with mushrooms. I only had the one with mushrooms and it was pretty good. The sodas (or at least the Dr. Pepper) was a good blend of syrup vs. carbonation.
CONS: Everything else. The salad bar had a sneeze guard that was so far out it was hard to reach the back row and my hair nearly landed in the front row. Makes me wonder how many people before me ran their hair over that food.. The pizza all seemed old and dry. They did have fresh pizza come out while we were there but I felt sick by that time and didn’t even try it. The restrooms smelled clean; but there was trash on the floor, round residential toilet seats on elongated commercial toilets, pink soap in the pump dispensers that smelled like Gojo and disgusting food? drippings all down the trash can and door handle.
We don’t live in the area… But if we did, we would definitely not be visiting this place again. Nice people, but that’s not what we go out to dinner for.

As pizza buffets go this is good. The salad bar is one of the best and the pizza is good. The staff and owner are very friendly. You should go here. If the pizza is old, tell the owner, he’ll put out new pizza with a smile.

Have you been to CiCi’s? Then you’ve been to Gatti’s. It is the same product level and atmosphere. Nothing to see here.

This place is okay for a pizza buffet. It’s better than CiCi’s. What bothered me more than anything was the amount of dust on their ceiling fans and rafters. It’s clear they haven’t been cleaned in ages as there are thick layers everywhere. This might not bother some people but no thanks to clumps of dust falling on our table and into my food.

I’m going to agree with all of the previous reviews that rated this place 3 stars or below. I walked out pretty disappointed after my first and last trip last night. I picked up a groupon a couple months back thinking this was going to be similar to Gatti Town in Frisco (seeing how they are connected but clearly not the same), but we were sadly mistaken. Friendly staff and restaurant was clean but food was not to our liking. Got me yet again Groupon!

Terrible. $ 7.50 a plate and nothing fresh on the bar. Everything was old and should have been removed. The owner said it was fine and left it. If you like pepperoni you’ll be fine. If not go somewhere else.

I drive from Carrollton to this location once a month. The staff is always friendly, the food is always spot-​on and the manager is always accommodating.
I wish there was one closer to me but my family and I don’t mind the long drive out because we know we won’t be disappointed!

Crispy crust no matter the number of toppings and no grease standing on the pizza. Something about the cheese is delicious.
This place is clean and by clean it is spotless. Sort of like visiting your grandma’s house clean. No smelly chemicals either. Don’t want to be OCD in regards to cleanliness but its a significant difference than most restaurants now days.
I remember Gattis from my childhood and today all my expectations were met. The pizza was just right. Too bad this place only offers buffet, this is the best pizza for reheating.
Salad bar, pizza buffet and dessert for $ 8 isn’t bad and I would return.
Note that this location doesn’t have the kids games and movies etc. It looks like there is a screen that might be used for private parties.

Pizza is thin, the meat sauce is good.

for a buffet it is exteremly clean. If you don’t like the pizza selections at the buffet, you can always request one to be made.

Fail!
This is not «Mr.» Gatti’s. it is simply Gatti’s. I noticed this after I paid my $ 8 for a buffet and soft drink. The salad bar was adequate. The pizza laid out was remnants from the lunch hour. I was there around 130. I am sure if I would have raised a stink I could’ve gotten them to make a fresh pie but alas… Stay away from this place unless they’re busy and making fresh pizza. Know what? Don’t bother.

We have been here twice. I think they probably try but the type of clientele is not for us. If you want to have young kids running around and some quiet, do not come here. The food is very marginal and we have no intentions of returning.

LOvE Mr. Gatti’s pizza! This place is no different! Awesome pizza!

This place is THE BEST pizza buffet… if you go in off peak hours you will run into some older pizzas… however if you ask them they will make anything you want. The pizzas there are fantastic… the salad bar has some of the freshest, coldest veggies. We go here all the time… ten times better than CiCi’s and for me and my hubby with drinks included it was like $ 16. Great little buffet.

if i didn’t have kids i’d never set foot in this place… go to chuck e cheese or Pizza inn instead.
