We’ve been looking for a El Pollo Locco since moving away from SoCali. Not sure why no one mentions this place. It’s quite close to E.P.L. Grilled juicy chicken with a salsa bar, flavorless beans and rice, free fried flour chips.
Chicken comes in paper wrapper like a Whopper with a roasted onion inside YUM! What a yummy surprise. I enjoyed it very much.
Glad I looked at the menu online tho for the 2 whole chicken deal. It was covered up by something else on the wall. Bad way of displaying the specials and menu itself.

Great Mexican chicken dinners.
We often get the whole chicken meals that come with rice and beans. One whole chicken meals feeds 2 – 3 people. Instant hit at the house.
Issue we run into is with the wait. The wait is often longer than you expect…

Chicken was good maybe even 4 stars but sides were just plain and tasteless. Just a filler. May come back for the chicken but$ 17 for a whole chicken I just don’t see that happening.

Good eats! I’ve been to a few of their locations and never is disappointed. My fav is the barbacoa tacos; the meat is so tender. They have a wide variety of salsas on their bar. Can’t wait to go again.

I got the chicken flautas and they were good, but they do not have queso. So, it is hard to eat flautas without queso. They have a great selection of different sauces at the salsa bar.

They recently renovated this location. I’ve never dined in but I’ve given the drive through a couple of whirls. I’ve never been disappointed. I always order the half chicken meal and it always seems fresh off the grill. It is pretty much perfectly spiced chicken to me. I always get extra salsa verde — theirs is a creamy jalapeño like sauce that is just plain freaking good. It is spicy, but I nonetheless light my tongue up every time. The meal comes with beans and rice. The beans are pretty tasty too — especially for fast food. I’ve also tried their chicken mole which is good and their torta. The hubs tried a burger of all things once and said he wouldn’t go for the burger again.

The food is alright but this place is highly unsanitary, I found a hair in my taco and the place was swarming with flies the few times I went there, I don’t recommend eating anything at this dump unless you want intestinal parasites.

The Tacos are very good. The chicken comes w tortillas race beans and 2 salsas
