This courthouse is beautiful and clean with ample parking. I had to renew my vehicle in person and I was expecting to have to take a ticket and wait. There were several other people there but they were fully staffed with lots of windows open so no wait lines. The girls at that assisted me were very helpful and friendly. I had a pleasant experience.

Went here to register my vehicles after recently relocating from CA to TX. This place is a lot slower than the CADMV. The line for out of state transfers was short thank goodness. I was in and out of here in about half an hour. They give you your actual license plates on the spot unlike CA where they mail them to you. If you use a credit or debit card they do charge a 3% fee. The workers here are nice but tend to move at a snail’s pace. Nothing they do is urgent as they tend to take their sweet ‘ol time. Not to mention the lady that helped me was also talking on the phone at the same time. Welcome to Texas.

They DO accept credit cards now for a 2%+ fee. Checks and cash are still acceptable. The ladies at the window always seem to be having a personal conversation. While they are generally nice, I don’t want to hear their life issues.
