Cohen Orthodontics

I do not recommend this orthodontist. I wasted the first year and a half in braces being ill-​advised by him that I did not need teeth pulled as part of my treatment. Then, as I approach my two year mark seeing almost NO progress, I find out from a second opinion that I DO in fact need to have teeth pulled in order to achieve my desired results. I actually had to switch to a different orthodontist and essentially start all over again. Thanks to Dr. Cohen, I am STILL in braces for almost three years now (my teeth were not that bad to start with). I feel he is an amateur who does not have his patient’s best interest in mind. Not to mention the fact that he felt it was acceptable to «suggest» that I have a plastic surgery procedure done on my neck/​chin that had never even occurred to me as something I needed. I ended up becoming so self-​conscious about it after he pointed it out, that I actually went and got a consultation with a plastic surgeon who told me there is no way he would perform that surgery on me. He was shocked to hear that a medical «professional» actually took it upon himself to tell me I needed this, and he completely disagreed with Dr. Cohen’s opinion. I feel duped and disgusted that I paid money to this person who completely wasted my time and years of my adult life.
