I walked in when the store opened, looking for a particular item. According to the Web site, the item was in stock at this location. I don’t blame this store for the site’s inaccuracy — the item was not in the store — but I do blame this store for being allowed to walk around for 45 minutes, past several employees several times, some of whom were helping no one, and never being asked if I needed help. Eventually, after shopping for other things for a while, I did corner someone, and got the answer that the item I was looking for wasn’t in the store. At that point, I was so annoyed with the terrible customer service that I left a cart full of several hundred dollars’ worth of items, all of which I had planned to purchase, right where I was standing and simply walked out. Amazon will get the business I planned to do today, and this«Best» Buy will never get anything from me in the future.

Nick is awesome. Talk about easy breezy beautiful customer/staff interaction. This location is just like any other BB. They do have a Magnolia Center. The store is inviting and probably has what you need. But I do want them to beef up their product selections. Go forth and be tech savvy.

I hate the Best Buy and will not be going back ever again! Wish I didn’t have to give them one star. The people are unfriendly and not helpful. They act like you are disturbing them when they are actually there to assist you. The only thing I like about this store is the parking lot… easy to find a place to park and I see why!

I shop here all the time and I always get great service! The employees are always friendly and much more knowledgable than I’m use to at other stores! Yes, you may wait in line at customer service for a little! It’s pretty common at any store if you show up during the busiest time of the day or week.

Look, I don’t know how a Best Buy can be bad, but this is easily the worst I’ve ever been to. It’s staffed by a bunch of inconsiderate and unhelpful kids that will make you want to drive by it every time on your way to Allen or Frisco. As expected, it’s one of the smaller, poorly stocked Best Buys in the McKinney/Allen/Frisco area. The only upside? It’s rarely busy. I’m sure you can guess why.

I’ve always had great service at this Best Buy location. It’s always well-organized and clean. Compared to the location in Frisco by Stonebriar, this place is like a breath of fresh air for the company!

Great experience, Easy to work with sales associates, awesome pricing. I went to geek squad with some technical questions and an associate name«Typo» helped me out. He was patient, polite and knowledgeable. Next time I need an electronic fix, I will ask for him. Thanks Best Buy for hiring great employees!

I feel like whenever I walk in the door of this store. It’s always a fail. I have soooo many examples of why I hate this store, and they are very versatile. computer repair, electronic buy back, sales, cell phone service, everything, ugh! Not to mention this store is incredibly small. I’m from Hawaii where the Best Buys are wonderful… definitely a disappointment here. The Frisco one is alright, I live minutes away from this Mckinney location, but find it more than worth it to drive to Frisco in the rare event I need something from here.

I got the audio port put in so I can listen to my ipod in my car… it costed like $ 150 and you have to have their«professional installation» for ot to be under warranty. Well, it’s been 2 months and it quit working. And when they were drilling a hole in my console for it they drilled an extra on accident… yay! «Professional my a$$!

Took my computer in, under warranty, and 30-days later it came back but the case was cracked. They would repair the crack that must have been done by «FedEx», but I would be put to the back of the line with a wait of another 30 days. No complaining — nothing would change their minds. Another 30 days! After 2 weeks of conversation(lol) they replaced the computer with a like model. This time we didn’t purchase the warranty because when this computer breaks we don’t want to deal with them again. Haven’t tried it yet but I understand CostCo electronics come with a 2 yr warranty.
