I have a Kenmore High Efficiency top load washer that stopped spinning just after the one year warranty expired. A&A appliance repair had good google reviews so I decided to give them a try. That was a mistake. The serviceman was friendly and professional, but he seemed unsure. I was charged almost $ 200 for the repair and it was broken again less than a month later. They did come back to adjust the washer again, and it lasted two more weeks. The third time the guy came he said he had to order a new part to fix the problem and he would be back as soon as the part came in. He told me he did a temporary fix just to keep the washer operating while we waited for the part. At this visit there was sound proofing material and extra parts left out of the washer. The serviceman said it did not effect the functionality and he would put it all together when the new part came in. The problem is he never came back. I called 3 times and I was blown off. The temporary fix lasted about 4 months and it broke again. This time I called Sears Home repair. The problem turned out to be something. common to this washer that is a defect that has not been recalled yet. A screw keeps coming loose and it basically has to be glued in to stay. I don’t blame A&A for not knowing this. I blame them for not admitting that they could not fix my washer. They took my money, left parts out of the machine, and stopped returning my calls. I had to pay another $ 213 for the recent repair. I wish I would have called Sears first, instead of flushing money down the drain with A&A Appliance Repair.
