Great Escape Theatres

I can’t recall if this theatre is affiliated with any national chain, but it’s a good theatre. The interesting thing for me to note is that each time I’ve been here (only twice), I have taken my nephew to a movie that was also in 3-​D.
This time I purchased the tickets online via Fandango as we were going to see The Avengers movie on opening day and I was concerned about the movie being sold out. Going early on a Friday helped for the showing to not be thrown out, but nevertheless, the ticket person was able to print out tickets from scanning my phone and we headed on in.
The concessions stand was pretty standard, popcorn, nachos, Icees, candy, etc for exorbitant prices. We were seated in a standard theatre with stadium-​style seating. I’m sure the next time I’m in town, I’ll probably take my nephew to see another movie here.

This theatre is alright, but it needs a deep cleaning. The seats are light purple and have brown stains all over the seats. My hubby and I moved several rows and each row was the same. However, the staff was very friendly. The girl at the ticketing area recommended a few good movies to us. This theatre is not bad, but it’s not great.

First time going today, it was alright. The customer service sold me for this place. Very nice and cordial staff.

Clean theater, typical pricing on concession stand snacks, and comfy seats.
The Lego movie was a good kiddie movie.

Not bad for a local place… always good place for family as we took our son for his first movie here… after the movie he wanted to play video games and there wasnt much to choose from and some of that wasnt even working. Other than that its ok but thats why i gave it three stars

I like it, I am not to rough on theatres, it was clean as far as theatres go and sound an picture was pretty good I think.

They have spent tons of money upgrading projectors! so your image is wonderful at this theater !!
sound is ok, could be better, but most places don’t go over board with the sound, you gotta find someone with a rocking home theater system to get the movie like it should be.
This place is slowly being ran over by the lower side, look PARENTS there is a sign that says ALL KIDS MUST HAVE AN ADULT and that age goes to 13 !!
The seating areas are clean and I wouldn’t know about the snack bar, always skip it. waste of money. IMO
IF you have a problem with kids or teenagers or ADULTS for that matter all you have to do is talk to security and they resolve the matter or tell the problem to leave. If you movie was just ruined, talk to management and get a refund.
sometimes you get adults that think they are riding a roller coaster then watchn a movie. sometimes you just want to smack some people, but just talk to an ADULT staffer and problem should be handled quickly. It was with me.
I recommend this theater, and if you want to bring your KIDS and DROP THEM OFF… do those of us that WANT TO WATCH THE MOVIE a favor and take them to AMC Southlake! !!!
Don’t ruin this theater too!

I’ve been here a couple of times and I am so not a fan. Caught a movie friday night and there had to be just about every teenager in McDonough GA here. The theater’s were pretty small and dirty and based on some of the other comments on the concession stand i’m glad we didn’t get any popcorn.

I don’t know about their concession stand because the few times I’ve visited I just came and watched the Movie and left. But the movie rooms were always clean and tidy during my visits also I never have problems with over-​crowdedness at this theater and that’s what I like most. The picture and sound quality is also great as well as the location. I don’t think you will be disappointed at all.

What happens when you hire people who don’t know how to work?
The place doesn’t get cleaned! That is about my only problem with this place.
THIS PLACE IS BETTER THEN SOUTHLAKE AMC24 !!! Here is why, you don’t have to have police sitting in the parkinglot to make sure the «punks» don’t cause problems, you don’t have to deal with thugs hanging out, you don’t have to deal with LOUD out of control kids !!
If someone is causing a problem INSIDE your movie and you take the time to get up and REPORT them, staff from the theater will come in and REMOVE the problem!
Unlike southlake where the staff could care less!
The sound was OK, not super, the images were GOOD and seating was good.
I like the fact the CONTROL KIDS/​PUNKS/​TEENS so you can actually ENJOY your movie.

I don’t normally go to this theatre, but my niece lives in Henry Co, so there ya go.
The first thing I noticed when we were at the concession stand was their health dept score. It was an 87 and was for random stuff like improperly storing stuff.
Then, I noticed that the entire area around the concession stand looked like they had not swept up in quite a while. We were there at 2:30 in the afternoon and it was kind of dead so I’m not sure how that much popcron and trash was all over the front area by the concession stand.
The theatre itself was fine. Audio was fine, video was fine, tempreature was fine, but they seriously need to clean the place up!
