Fun Bowl of Henry County

Me and the family went to this place and the manager provided me bowling shoes that were unacceptable (torn). I asked did he have better shoes, and without checking he said they were all like that. I asked him to check and he provided me even worst looking shoes, which he said were better. He was non-​apologetic about the condition of the shoes, until I asked him to check for better looking shoes. He then provided that they were ordering new shoes. Afterwards, the family and I decided not to bowl. We returned our shoes and departed.
The representative was curt when my wife requested a lane and shoes. I asked for the manager and was disappointed the rep was the manager.
I recommend they get new attitudes and new shoes to avoid patrons from suffering injuries.

Let’s start with the good. This place has a great atmosphere, nice bowling lanes and seats, and lots of things to do. Laser Tag, Bowling, Pool, Arcade, Mini-​Golf… They have the whole package. The primary purpose of the business is accomplished quite well.
Now, let’s get the bad, the ugly, and the atrocious. The little Food stand is the sole reason this fun little joint is not receiving Five Stars. I’ll give them that it was a packed Saturday Night and wait times for food were going to be longer. I understood that. Here are the issues: The staff had not a smile among them the entire time I was there. There’s no organization or management of any type to it, and orders can get lost. With a long line out front, there were, at times only 2 of the 5 staff out front with customers, and no one was working with any pep in their step.
Overall, I would recommend this place for a fun night with friends, with the caveat that you avoid the Food Zone like the Black Plague in the 1800’s.

Machines are a bit old, just your average neighborhood bowling alley, nothing too fancy and decent pricing. The bowling balls are all chipped and have really weird sizes. But I still had a good time.

Nice location but the machines kept cheating us out of tickets and no I do not mean it gave me 10 tickets and I know that because I am a pro at these games that I should have gotten 250 tickets instead of 10 tickets. I mean we played certain games and absolutely NO tickets came out! Other than that we had a freaking ball! I even beat the machine on Connect Four, which was short lived because Bev kicked my butt in Connect Four moments later. Then her 8 year old nephew whom is half my height kicked my butt shooting hoops as well. Apparently I suck at playing games now… I wished later that I’d played harder and longer as my Grown Folks Issues kicked in ruining my evening a few hours later! :)
Also this was on a Sunday late afternoon and the outside area was closed. Not sure it they are closed on Sunday or if they are just not using the Baseball and Go-​Carts area anymore.
This is a great place to have a kids party. Think low budget Dave and Buster’s! They do sell a little food, have a bowling ally, pool table or billiards for you proper people, and the game room which is where I spent all of my time! :)
